Now here is something that came out of nowhere. It appears that the 2015 build of Dead Island 2 has been leaked online. According to reports, there is a working build of this unreleased game circulating the Internet. Not only that, but below you can find some screenshots from it.
Dead Island 2 has been in development hell for a while. YAGER was originally developing game, using Unreal Engine 4. However, it’s now reported that Dambuster Studios is currently working on it. In May 2019, THQ Nordic claimed that we’d be soon hearing about this game. However, and after a whole year, we haven’t heard anything at all about it.
Below you can find some screenshots from the 2015 build of Dead Island 2. Needless to say that these screenshots do not represent the quality of the final game. And, for today’s standards, they might look a bit dated. After all, this is an unpolished build we’re talking about.

As always, we won’t allow any links to this 2015 build. We may ban those that share direct links to this leaked version of Dead Island 2. We are pretty sure that if you search enough, you will be able to find it.
Let’s hope that THQ Nordic will reveal the new version of Dead Island 2 sooner rather than later.

BTW: Dead Island IP is under Deep Silver branch of Embracer , not nordic
Nordic Ab aka the parent comany which got renamed called Embracer (not to cause confusion) …and all of its branches works kinda separately (THQ Nordic, Deep Silver ,Cofee Stain, Saber Inteactive… ) and owns IPs separately and has each own their management and own dev studios.
So yes its all ultimately owned by the embreacer folks … but there is definitely difference if the IP is under Nordic , DS or Saber for example

Hmmm interesting, saw the title and it got Me a little juiced up since I love the original game but then I looked at the pictures and saw: Server, Ping, ServerUsedMem, Players : so is this a MMO? If that is the case and it’s a only online title then I eill finally let it go.

I am just going to wait for Dying Light 2 this year for it looks amazing and finally let DI2 go, feels bad Man.

Yeah I think your right and that is just debug info on screen and the player hosting is the server. Will see hey, I am sure they will show it in it’s current state sometime this year.
Still as much as I love the first game My eye is on Dying Light 2 and it is a day one for Me, if this one turns out to be good as well that will just be a bonus.

After all this time, they should have cancelled it. Dying Light is a far better product.
