New screenshots surface for People Can Fly’s upcoming co-op shooter, Outriders

Square Enix and People Can Fly have shared some new screenshots for their upcoming co-op shooter, Outriders. These screenshots showcase some of the environments, characters and classes that players will find in the game.

Outriders is a 1-3 player, drop-in-drop-out, co-op shooter, set in an original dark and desperate sci-fi universe. The game promises to be a dark modern third-person shooter with a strong story.

In Outriders, players will create their own Outrider and embark on a journey across a hostile planet. The game also promises to feature rich storytelling with a diverse world. Thus, players will leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and deserts in pursuit of a mysterious signal.

Furthermore, Outriders aims to combine intense gunplay with violent powers, along with an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets.

Square Enix plans to release this new game in Holiday 2020.

Enjoy!

  1. Pew pew pew, damage numbers, and Graphics. NO GAMEPLAY innovation. NO Gameplay AT ALL. This is the now and future of gaming. Remember games like The Matrix: Path of Neo, Bloodrayne, STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed, 007: Everything Or Nothing and many many more from 15 years ago. These games had more VARIED animation in the first 5 minutes of the game than any game of today in its entirety. What is going on around here?.. People look at this game and think it passes for “A GOOD GAME”, pew pew pew and LEVEL UP some more.

  2. Doesn’t look that exciting but i’ll give it a chance as the devs have made some good games in the past.

    1. Most people implied in those “good games in the past” are no longer working at PCF, they formed the The Astronauts and are working on Witchfire

      1. Reminds me of Gears as well, hate those health bars all over the place though, why on earth have they made them so big.

  3. Cant wait to play this. Love looter shooters, and compared to Destiny 2. You can use skills here so much faster. Also the world design and details are really well done.
