Crysis Remastered feature 2

Here is your first look at Crysis Remastered, announcement trailer leaked, shows in-engine graphics

Earlier today, we informed you about Crysis Remastered. As we’ve reported, the game’s official website has leaked this upcoming remaster. However, that’s not the only thing that got leaked today. Below you can also find the game’s announcement trailer, featuring in-engine graphics.

As Crytek has noted, Crysis Remastered brings new graphic features and high-quality textures. It will also have CRYENGINE’s native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution.

Do note that the following announcement trailer is a teaser trailer. As such, don’t expect a lot of scenes from the remaster. For now, the only thing we get to see is Nomad in a jungle environment.

Now the good news here is that this footage looks better than Crysis Modded. We can clearly noticed a better lighting system, better textures and better vegetation meshes. So here is hoping that these graphics will represent the quality of the PC version.

Crytek will officially reveal Crysis Remastered soon, so stay tuned for more!

  1. And here goes nothing, same old wine in the new bottle treatment. I would’ve been excited if C4 ‘d be coming instead.

  2. vtol stuff was boring they can cut that just fine

I know it wasn’t in the original but I wouldn’t mind the bow from 3 being included.

  3. i think a new game instead of a remaster would have been a better idea.i loved crysis 1.true PC graphics and very nice gameplay but i believe a remaster is not really something people are intersted in.i hope they make at least a truly shining example of a PC optimized graphically stunning game.

  4. That’s clearly not gameplay footage of anything.
It’s rendered and quite poorly. I doubt that it is even real.

  5. FAKE. The nanosuit doesn’t even look right and was just edited in lmfao. Also the environment doesn’t seem to be using SVOGI at ALL.

Please verify your sources before posting crap like this. @John

  6. Nice little step back he did at the end there.
    This is a render.
Dude you have nothing, in no way shape or form, telling you (much less proving) that’s what the game will look like, even on PC.
    give me a break.
show me something up and running, that shows it’s in-engine graphics,
that’s a false statement, period, unless that statement came directly from crytek.

God knows we all want it to look as awesome as possible, and particularly on next gen consoles, but give me a break.
    don’t say something is in-engine when it isn’t ?

  7. Aaaand here we go again.
When Crysis was released in 2007, I needed to wait 5 years before getting a computer good enough to handle it.
    I guess I’ll play this one in 2025. ?

  8. >Why there is no mention of EA anywhere ?

Legal statement at the end suggests that Crytek bought the rights to Crysis.
