The team behind the best Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3, has released a brand new version of it. This latest version of RPCS3 has a new feature that allows you to unlock the framerate of a Playstation 3 game.
As the team noted, Vblank will allow you to change a game’s frame rate. This option is located in the advanced tab in emulator settings. Moreover, you can dynamically change vblank and clock scale while your game is running, to achieve your desired frame rate.
However, do note that not every game works with vblank settings. As such, you might need some game specific patches to unlock the framerate.
The game that work so far with an unlocked framerate are Skate 3, WipEout HD, Ni No Kuni and Yakuza Ishin. Oh, and almost all of Naughty Dogs’ games work with Vblank. Thus, and once the emulator has matured, you’ll be able to play Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us with unlocked framerates.
As always, you can download the latest version of RPCS3 from here.
Have fun!

Its not latest. That feature is several months old
Ok…… but can it do nude mods? That’s the question.
R non-PC S3
no.
not yet.
so how powerful your pc needs to be to run those?
Depends on the game, the big ones are VERY demanding on the CPU
1.21 gigawatts
great scott!
??
Back to the Future.
Lmao, this guy i tell ya. 🙂
i’ve tried several games. The one stuttering like hell at least in my rather old pc is Persona 5, Never Dead, Jo Jo All Star, Genji Days of the Blade
I play Ninja gaiden Sigma, Skate 3 and Wipeout HD almost perfect on modest Ryzen 5 2600 and GTX 1060 6 GB. While some PSN games like Hard Corps Uprising and After Burner Climax plays perfect on my old Intel Core i3 6100 + GTX 1060 6GB (while Skate 3 sound stutter badly and Wipeout only a slideshow.
