With only ten days passed since the Steam Winter sale, Valve is reportedly planning another sale really soon. While nothing is officially confirmed yet, it does sound like it is probably happening sooner than later.
A message from Valve to their partners has recently posted on Reddit, announcing the Steam Lunar New Year sale. According to the message the sale will take place on January 23rd and will last for five days.
The same thing happened last year, but instead of January the sale took place in early February. Right now we do not have any information regarding which games will be available for purchase or how much they will be discounted during the sale. We will make sure to let you know if anything changes.

Yeah they started that last year i believe for the chinese New Year. So end of this month w’ll get another Holiday sale. I believe GoG did it as well, I’m waiting for THE SURGE 2 to land on GOG end of Jan. <------ HYPED!

Why buy anything that isnt on sale ever again?
The question is… WHY by anything on day 1. Especially when it comes to a PC game. I’ve perfected the art of buying 365 days later. Even for games I got as a voucher. I’m Just playing RE2 and DMC 5 now and i got that on day one when i bought my GPU. I for one do NOT have Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO). It’s not worth it. You get treated like trash for buying anything day one. I just got Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition for 8 dollars. On release i could’ve gotten for 25 bucks but even that cheap i wouldn’t. For 1 i’m not paying more than 10 dollars for anything with DENUVO in it. Because when that DRM cease to function, i won’t feel like a sucker for spending 60 dollars to not own something. FUQ that noise son.
OK how did you get Mortal Kombat 11 Premium for 8 dollars? I have not seen it on sale anywhere at that price… According to Steamdb the lowest historical price for the standard version (not deluxe) was $23.99.
Why should I pay full price for something you created, or a service you provide? That’s an easy one. People deserved to be paid for their work. Publishers get way too much of the share, but as a consumer there really isn’t much we can do other than tell the Devs to go inde.
Think back to how much convincing it took from die-hard PC gamers to get GTAV to the PC. Rockstar genuinely didn’t want to release it. Partly due to the chance of having game cheats/hacks that will manipulate their online currency. Because that is really where they made all their money.

Whether or not you agree with my thoughts, everyone needs to watch THE FALLOUT OF 76 in its entirety. This shows why AAA game companies do closed public beta-tests in multiple batches like Star Wars Battlefront when it was being released. It forces a false sense of urgency making the person think that they won’t be as skilled as the others when the game is actually for sale. If their intentions were pure about improving the game by Q/A testing, they would not charge a non-refundable $59.99 (or more) for it. THEY PAY EMPLOYEES TO QUALITY TEST THEIR GAMES PRE-RELEASE. YOU SHOULD NOT PAY THEM FOR THE PRIVILEGE. SO STOP!!!
