Epic Games has announced that Superhot is now available for free on Epic Games Store. PC gamers can visit the game’s EGS page and acquire their free copy for the next 24 hours.
Superhot is the first-person shooter where time moves only when you move. The game does not feature regenerating health bars or conveniently placed ammo drops.
Here are the key features for Superhot:

No VR version? 🙁
Advice: Don’t bother with this game without VR. It is the king of VR games and you’d be completely missing out on what makes the experience special if you can’t get yourself a VR headset to experience it.

Seeing isn’t believing. Experiencing it is believing. Someday I hope you get to play this in VR. If you didn’t like it, then just walk away and accept that you’re just not a dude. Dudes who like action movies, scc-fi and gaming all appreciate this game. Basically you get to be Neo. Dual wielding pistols, moving in slow motion crossing your arms where your left hand is shooting right and right hand shooting left.. it feels like an action movie superhero simulator. It’s so fun. Hope you try it sometime. And I didn’t downvote you.
It’s great people who have VR headsets like them. For us peasants the costs is a pretty big hurdle, and consider how few games exist.
I know it isnt going to happen but Im guessing about $200 is what a normal person would spend on a top of the line VR set up after blowing a small fortune building their latest up to date gaming rig. I think that price point would drive the tech into everyone’s homes. But of course that’s less than what it costs to make those things. At least the few top shelf versions of the tech.
It’s a bit of a “luxury” item, sure. I rarely pull out my Vive but it’s nice to have. It has some improvements in weight and heat and price to go, but it has a future.

this game didnt click for me i didnt get into it with the whole time moves when you move, felt off especially the way bullets moved only when you move, which mean you have to aim, shoot and then zig zag waiting for the bullets to hit…didnt click for me.

Nice my free library of games just keeps on growing. Also picked up WWZ in their sale for £11 and got a £10 voucher. I will say one thing for the Epic store at least it isn’t full of the utter shovelware and garbage that Steam is.
I couldn’t care less for lame achievements or stupid icons and stickers. Lets also be honest Steam’s forums are not what they used to be and their user reviews are a joke.

Are you that stupid ? Epic Games is 45% owned by the disgusting chinese billionaire shareholding company, TENCENT…. Epic has made billion and billion $$$ with their controversial trash, Fartnite… So it is REALLY EASY for them to bait people to use their spyware, EGS.
Next year I’m probably gonna transition into making EGS my main platform and leave steam behind. I’m loving it so far. It brought some flavor to the PC gaming ecosystem, as opposed to the plain bread that Steam is.

The only thing I’m interested in is getting a good deal. I’ve just bought Tom Clancy’s Division 2 Ultimate Edition for £9.99 (Normally £99). Neither UPlay or Steam will ever sell the game at that price. What a bargain! Thank you Epic Games Store.
So you don’t like the Epic Games Store simply because it’s 45% owned by the Chinese. Most companies these days are owned by foreign countries.
