Microsoft and Ninja Theory have announced that the sequel to Hellblade is currently under development. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will target next-gen platforms, and you can find below its first in-engine trailer.
From what we know so far, Hellblade 2 will be using Unreal Engine 4. The game also appears to be pushing amazing visuals that are similar to the Reborn Quixel tech demo.

I dunno, i mean, the first was really good, but this trailer is edgy as hell, i don’t like it. They could’ve very easily make a normal trailer like in the first game but nope. They gotta make the edgiest trailer of 2019. It beats Gears Of War 5.

Very underrated combat imho. There were several hidden combos/moves that most players probably didn’t even know. That’s my only complaint about the game. Also the implementation of the binaural sound was simply amazing.

I was hoping they would make something less depressing, they have a really talented team over there. I digged the graphics of the first Senua, but honestly its a game that had me kinda feeling sick half the game, either due to the depressing nature of the whole thing or from the annoying camera movement going on.

This trailer was really f###ed me up. It was very unsettling… which is awesome! Thought hellblade 1 was not bad. If they can give better gameplay then just matching symbols. Im all in! The fighting and visuals were well done in the first. More of that please!
You should watch the Vikings TV series…they show these rituals/ceremonies based on real Viking history…ITS F***ED UP some of the stuff they did!
