Silent Hill

First-person fan remake concept demo for the first Silent Hill game is now available for download

Zero Trace Operative has released a first-person fan remake demo of the original Silent Hill game. Do note, though, that this is a concept demo featuring the game’s “beginning nightmare” and nothing more. It’s also really short (about 3-5 minutes) and there are no plans to turn this demo into a full game.

Moreover, there are some changes here and there due to the first-person perspective. Still, I’m pretty sure that Silent Hill fans will find it interesting. It’s not as impressive as Silent Hills, obviously, however it’s a cool tribute to this classic horror game.

In order to showcase this demo, Zero Trace Operative has also released the following video. Thus, we suggest watching it if you are curious about it (but do not want to download it).

This Silent Hill first-person fan remake is 550MB in size and you can download it from here.

Have fun!

  1. the first sillent hill was amazing, it was downhill from there

“BUT THE SECOND ONE HUR DUR”

The second one was short, boring and repetitive the story had nothing to do with the cult, didnt answer any questions, the puzzles were trash, the graphics might have been impressive but the level design was simplistic samey building corridors and the town map was linear with way too much fog that covered up everything, like the building designers had a fight with the atmosphere designer and they decided to hide the buildings with fog. Also the game is so quiet that you can literally hear the buttons you are pressing, it doesnt have good atmospheric music with the typical nightmarish sillent hill sounds that the game uses for music. The nightmare world parts are trash too, they look more or less the same as the normal world parts. PFFFT. The first sillent hill was the best

  2. Just look at that game page. It’s just screaming C&D. I really hope this thing happens, but I reeeeeally doubt it. Especially with how an*l Konami has been about Silent Hill.

    1. It most likely won’t happen, especially seeing how it says it is a fan made project that is complete and will not be continued before you get to the title screen. I know, I just tried starting it but got an error. Just as I did days ago with not having Net Framework 3.5 and reinstalling yesterday just so I could play it. But if I can’t get it working after downloading it from different sources? I’ll just be restoring my PC to as it was before the reinstall of Windows 11
