NVIDIA has announced that it will add Reshade filters to the GeForce Experience via a new driver that will come out next week. This new driver will release during the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER launch, on October 29th.
NVIDIA has claimed that with this implementation, players will be able to tap into hundreds of filters. However, the green team has not clarified which filters will be available. Moreover, it’s still unknown whether users will be able to freely import their favourite filters to it.
As we’ve already covered, Reshade can significantly improve the visuals of a PC game. PC gamers can apply sharpening filters to their favourite games, as well as SMAA and better ambient occlusion solutions. They can also force screen space reflections, as well as Ray Tracing (though this is still in an experimental stage).
It will be interesting to see whether Reshade will work in DX12 or Vulkan games via the GeForce Experience. Right now, Reshade can only work in DX9, DX10, DX11 and OpenGL games. It will be also interesting to see whether this implementation will give a boost to the overall usage of Reshade.
We’ll be sure to let you know when the new driver will be available for download, so stay tuned for more!

Not an Nvidia Guy, but it sounds like good progress. Enjoy!
Well that’s definitely an unexpected good thing.
was predictable .i hope that we can add raytraced ambinet occlusion to every games via control panel
All I want is the Technicolor 2 Filter from ReShade.
Lumisharp, Technicolor, clarity, vibrance, smaa.
LumaSharpen is the bomb.
Oh thats nice
Which part of “GeForce Experience” was unclear?
“…the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER launch…”
/smh Unreal.
ReShade works in DX12 since the 4.3.0 version (it’s an experimental support).
He just wrote an article a few months ago talking about reshade working in DX 12 now, and he already forgot about it. lol
and they should!
Source? I can’t find any other mention of this on the Internet other than one website which has a reputation for posting fake information.
yes neither twitter nor in the news .
VCZ also post an article about this. So you can say this is real.
but will require a gsync display 😛
Good to have! Easy to apply reshade without copying the dlls and profiles manually for each game…
That’s nice and all, but I’ve already run into the one big gripe that I have with Nvidia filters
THEY DON’T SUPPORT EVERY GAME
Or at the least, they do not support a large roster of games. I’ve tried using their filters for games dating back to at least 2010-2013 and I’ve found it going “feature not supported for this title”, which irks me to not end.
Like I get it Nvidia, you like tossing us new toys, but could you at least stick around to support them for other titles in the past, not just a few hand picked titles from the present?.
Doesn’t even work with a lot of new games. Not just old ones.
Yup. I wish it worked with Total War Warhammer 2. The AMD version, works with this game.
so will it work for GTX 1060 or only newer gpu?
Same question about gtx 1080ti
Excellent!
As a fan of the clean install (no bloat/spy ware), I just wish they spent more time on their driver. 440.97 has broken The Surge 2 leaving the player unable to zone
AMD have better colours out of the box to start with.

Moron.
this also works with geforce gtx 1080ti?
Why do you post fake news?
“Right now, Reshade can only work in DX9, DX10, DX11 and OpenGL games.”
Reshade has had official DX12 support for most of this year.
It has worked with Vulkan for a few months now using a community patched version.
Dont care, bring the promised GSYNC support for 2019 LG OLEDs
Some UPDATE on this:
NVIDIA will offer a specific subset of ReShade filters to be enabled for competitive and non-competitive games. This is obviously a requirement as competitive gamers could take advantage of such filters. They could also risk receiving a ban for using them.
For competitive games, NVIDIA will support 14 FreeStyle Filters and 30+ ReShade filters. This number will change for non-competitive titles, as NVIDIA is targeting 70+ filters to be available for this type of gaming.
Additionally, NVIDIA will allow ALL ReShade filters to be used through Ansel (a technology that allows you to capture interesting moments in your favorite games).
