Metro 2033 Redux and Everything are now available for free on Epic Games Store

Epic Games has announced that Metro 2033 Redux and Everything are now available for free on its digital store. From today and until October 3rd, PC gamers can acquire free copies of these two games.

In case you weren’t aware of, Metro 2033 Redux is a remake of the first game. Metro 2033 Redux uses the same version of the 4A Engine that was used in Metro: Last Light. Moreover, it brings a number of graphical and gameplay improvements. However, it also reduces some intensive graphical effects, like volumetric lighting/shafts.

On the other hand, Everything is a procedural, AI-driven simulation of the systems of nature. Players will travel between outer and inner space, and explore a vast, interconnected universe of things without enforced goals, scores, or tasks to complete. The game also features a rich score from composer Ben Lukas Boysen,

Next week, Epic Games will be offering for free Minit.

  1. It’s so sad that all it takes to make people blindly defend you is to throw out some 10 year old/hipster indie games for free. Let’s forget all the anti-consumer practices and things that tim sweeny has said/done, all is forgiven apparently. Pathetic, the store doesnt even have a shopping cart still. EPIC doesnt care about the consumer at all, stop defending them. Steam has some massive issues too but at least it has FEATURES, like a community, mods, reviews, a cart, forums, etc. EPIC has nothing, on top of that, the store page lags on every PC ive ever seen it used on. Its clunky and terrible to even use. oh and as a side note, my sister was buying a few games during the sale and after 2 games bought, chase blocked her debit card from EPIC claiming them as a security risk….what a mess of a “store”.

    1. well all you have to do is look at all the bill of rights/ constitution. As over time so many people is willing to forgo freedom for peace. Sad yes because so many people fought for our freedoms and our right to be an idiot as well but we spit in their faces and dishonor their memory. It’s the same schitt here. Sure someone reading this will say, “It’s not that serious dude, it’s just A _______”My question to those people is always, “so when are yo gonna start taking things seriously?”. This world is filled with weak/disloyal individuals. And sadly. nothing you or I can do about it.

The sad part in all of this is that as a consumer, you get nothing from EPIC. The publishers and Epic are the only winners. They have no proper store or infrastructure. And yet people will defend EPIC to the death and we the consumer gets nothing in return, but apparently a bunch of batman games which we all already own is a good enough 30 pieces of silver.

    2. mate my problems are these

1.epic launcher is spying on you, we know this, its scans your hard drive
2.the idea that the manufacturers will choose the shop and not the consumer is so elitist.

  2. I dont plan on buying anything from that store, but if it’s free……why not? Do I have to be connected to the internet to play it?

  3. don’t know what is worse, Epic hate circle jerk or you.

    Edit : “steamopedophiles” “newel’s a*s licker”

    Jeez. Nevermind. You are worse.

  4. Steam-o-“pedophiles”??

    I think you meant “Steamophiles”

Just because someone loves Steam doesn’t immediately mean they love sex with children.
