Epic Games has announced that it will reveal tomorrow some new games that will be coming to its store. These announcements will be made during the Gamescom 2019 Opening Night Live event. Unfortunately, and other than that, we don’t have any additional details to share.

Now let’s speculate for a bit. A couple of days ago, a new rumour surfaced suggesting that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be announced for Stadia tomorrow. Not only that, but a PC version may be announced alongside the Stadia announcement. The PC and Stadia versions will target an October-December 2019 release (at least according to the rumour).
As such, it could be possible for Epic Games to strike a deal with Take-Two for this title. Some “leakers” earlier in April suggested this very same thing, so this could either be true or false.
According to some other rumours, a PC version of Death Stranding may be announced during this gaming event. Sony recently removed the game from its PS4 exclusive titles, so this is another game that could be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
Furthermore, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 may also make its debut during this gaming event. As such, and given that this is STALKER we’re talking about, Epic Games may have offered GSC GameWorld an exclusivity deal.
Again, take the aforementioned rumours with a grain of salt. To be honest, I don’t expect Take-Two or Kojima Productions to announce the PC versions of their titles at Gamescom 2019. I really hope I’m wrong on this, however, you should definitely temper your expectations.
But anyway, it will be interesting to see what new games will be coming exclusively on Epic Games Store!

Imagine RDR2 and DS going exclusively to EGS, and how less of a damn I’ll give, because one game is already mediocre and loaded with MT’s, and the other is setting itself up to being a mediocre movie based game.
Anything else that’s made exclusive just adds to my already growing blacklist.
It’s been made well and truly clear to me, that indie devs taking up their offers, do not care for consumers or what they think.

If S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 goes egs exclusive, and they’ve accepted epic money’s i hope it fails miserably, and i hope gsc closes down for good. That would really be like a knife to my heart if true.

I think that most devs aren’t doing it to piss anyone off directly, it’s that they don’t want to risk going bankrupt if the game fails so they accept that huge load of money to stay afloat, the problem with that is epic’s policies, so exclusivity and other bs. And this i think is especially true for GSC, they haven’t been doing good, but they still like to make games, and to do that, they’ll do anything. Epic could’ve played all this very differently, which is becoming a big SH like EA or Ubisoft and start acquiring small studios or those ones like GSC that aren’t in a good condition, and make profit on every single copy, even if there was a EGS but not with exclusive launches, they’d be making off money off steam and off EGS, but no! They picked the worst possible way which is sheer greed, and now here i am saying those things to one of my favorite games ever, because i would never buy it if it was an egs exclusive.
But y’all have to stop this B.S of Devs being helpless and what not. Because there are cases when devs have all the power like Bungie, Respawn and Bioware. But that’s besides the point here, publishes make these decisions, the devs are already paid for doing their job which is developing the game, the publishers are the ones that’s making these calls for the most part. So many great games coming to EGS and Call of Duty Modern Warfare is coming to Blizzard store, won’t be using Steam much this fall.
Keep those exclusives coming. I just bought Remnant: From the Ashes with the money I would have spent on Rebel Galaxy Outlaw if I hadn’t sailed to Tortuga to get it for free.
