YouTube’s Meteorite Games has shared a video, showing 3 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from Tripwire’s upcoming shark single-player action RPG, Maneater. This video will give you a small idea of what you will be able to do in this very cool new game.
In Maneater, players will assume control of a shark and they will progress from a baby bull shark to a legendary beast. Players will fight to survive in open ocean, swamps, and rivers with danger lurking at every depth, using their wits, jaws, and the uncanny ability to evolve as they feed.
Maneater sounds really cool, however this will be another timed-exclusive title for the Epic Games Store. According to Tripwire, the game will come out first on Epic’s store, and it will hit other digital stores 12 months later.
Enjoy the video!

try feed and grow fish on steam, it’s a much more interesting game.
epic
Another exclusive, I can live with that IF all these platforms work with the new GOG 2.0.
All my games/friends in one place to launch and chat to then I don’t have a problem where I buy the game from.
I really hope they all work together on this, It can benefit both consumers and business.
Where I would tend to skip a game because it’s exclusive to a platform I don’t use, Might actually start buying some!
Huh. Looks fun enough. Shame it’s a timed exclusive to the cancerous EGS
arent they indie dev? if so then i guess it’s understandable?? what do u think?
Yeah I guess it’s a good option for indie devs. Epic definitely paid them money to go exclusive. I just wish they had more faith in the quality of their game. Then they wouldn’t need to sell out since they know their game is gonna sell well regardless of which store it’s sold on.
yep, ure right
I can’t wait till games stop highlighting enemies in red outlines. Every game that has it, from FPS’s to RTS’s looks terrible and unfinished.
It’s one of my biggest issues with games graphically, and is always the first mod I’m looking for to remove it.
It’s such a lazy way of presenting your gameplay.

So a spiritual sequel to jaws unleashed a flawed but kinda fun game…
Ah and about that title….now the song is playing in my head
There was a time that every game that came out was different and interesting, now its all the same, this reminds me of those good old days.
Watch out boy, she’ll chew you up…
Another one, like Satisfactory, that I was hyped about the previous year. Too bad they are now EGS exclusive, which means blacklisting them forever.
But hey, according to these new age devs, “first impressions, what are those?. They don’t sound important”.
Would rather a see Depth sequel; multiplayer sharks vs. divers is a fun dynamic but this looks like a snoozefest.
Man that looks boring. Tripwire is a mere shadow of its former self… maybe this is why they’re now suckling at Epics teat.
EGS 1 year exclusive ?? WTF
Tripwire ???? Shame on you with all the sale you made with KF and KF2 on Steam……….
If I got to join a huge group of other sharks and make a sharknado, then I’m in!
