Watch_Dogs Legion-2

Ubisoft officially announces Watch_Dogs Legion, E3 2019 gameplay demo, release date, first screenshots

Ubisoft has officially revealed the third part in the Watch_Dogs series, Watch_Dogs Legion. Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes.

The game will allow you to control multiple characters and it will also come with a permadeath feature, meaning that when one of your characters dies, he/she dies for good and can never come back.

In Watch_Dogs Legion, every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated and guided by gameplay systems. As such, players will be able to assume the role of any NPC they desire.

What this basically means is that Watch_Dogs Legion will offer multiple missions that can be played via multiple characters (or at least that’s the main idea behind it).

Players can also unlock unique perks to personalize each member of their Legion according to their playstyle. Players can level-up each character within classes such as Hacker, Infiltrator, and Assault, and customize them further with unique outfits and iconic masks.

Here are the game’s key features:

  • Recruit and play as anyone in the city. Everyone you see has a unique backstory, personality, and skill set.
  • Hack armed drones, deploy spider-bots, and take down enemies using an Augmented Reality Cloak.
  • Explore a massive urban open world featuring London’s many iconic landmarks and fun side activities.
  • Take your recruits online and team up with your friends as you complete missions and challenging endgame content.
  • Upgrade to the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition for three day early access, season pass, and more!

Watch_Dogs Legion releases on March 6th, 2020.

Enjoy!

  1. How can anyone still believe in whatever Ubisoft says? plus this “Post-Brexit” Dystopia seems a little too close to Cyberpunk style for my taste.

    1. you say that but this is essentially where the world is heading…with a bit of islam on top of it….and china colonizing africa and other weaker regions.

      1. I don’t know from where you are, but i can say that Islam is against and it’s the total opposite of all this nonsense. The media makes Islam looks like is something for retarded minds and this is not true. The sad thing people believe, and on top of that they spread all the BS they hear without doing search.

        1. Dont know what you mean about that, the elites are fine wiht islam due to VAT being halal but wherever islam takes over, you end up with harassing the non believers and when the demographics shift, complete take over like iran and saudi arabia.

  2. I’ll keep an eye on this one but in truth it’s been a while since I’ve been interested in an Ubisoft game. I lost interest ever since they switched to online/MP experiences..

    1. Well its less hipster than watch dogs 2, i liked the old lady and the character that died at the start sounds very “british”

      1. True. Played WD2 loved the gameplay and gfx and story, just the hipster stuff, i would’ve left out. It seems like hacking and illegal actions are now made by people wearing caps written “peace” all over with gay pride shorts. I mean, it’s fine but it’s just not serious. Hopefully like you said it’s less “there” in the 3rd game. God, i know WD1 wasn’t perfect but i miss the “seriousness” of the story. I actually liked Aiden alot. Playing him, felt right.

      2. Is it though? I’m getting roughly the same punkish hipster vibe, where ridiculous makeup, loud neon colors and strange piercings everywhere constitutes “cool”

I really like the idea of Watch Dogs, but I would prefer a more serious tone like the first game and not this hipster, “cool crowd”, Ubisoft staff culture world that no one actually lives in. When everything is that over the top, it’s hard to take any story drawing connections between the dangers of a countrywide IoT seriously.

  3. BOHOOHOOOOO CYBERPUNK DOESNT HAVE A 3D PERSON VIEW.

Well there you go, now it has. What you mean this isnt cyberpunk? Well what else could it be?

Jokes aside though the lighting and colors look nothing like London too bright.

  4. “Whoever you wanna be, however you wanna play”
Can I be a gvnment agent and take all those “resistance” commies on a heli ride?
    Rhetorical question

        1. It would be even more exciting if we actually WERE Nazi’s and not just two internet fools making humor in poor taste.

          1. Not sure about you but NeonPanda comes off as very adamant about throwing out commies out of the helicopter when in real life he’s probably never even held a weapon.

          2. I saw his comment, thought very little about it, and added my bit, again very thoughtlessly.

I haven’t thought into any of it anymore than that. I have held and own many weapons though and I never point them at anything I don’t wish to destroy. I can assure you that list includes Jews and homosexuals (of which I do NOT wish to destroy).

          3. Its a very memeable thing.

            STAR UP THE ROTORS

            PACK THE LEFTIST SCUM

            THROW THEM IN THE OCEANS

            LEAVE NO ONE ALIVE

FREEEE YOUR COUNTRY, FROM THE LEFTIST SCUM

            FOREVER FREE, FOREVER PROUD

PROSPEROUS AND PROUD, PROSPEROUS AND PROUD,

      1. Pinochett style you mean and throwing commies out of helicopters does not violate the NAP because existing they violate the NAP.

  5. The showing is impressive but if you stop and think for even a second theres alot of things that become evident real quick. Like if you can play as almost any character, then how many different npcs are there in the game and how much voice acting is there really? Its not like they can record tens of thousands of hours of different dialogue from thousands of actors.

    1. It looks even shallower than Watch Dogs 2, though I wasn’t crazy about Marcus either. I did kind of like Wrench.

  6. “Let’s un***ck this world” by dressing like clowns, hacking drones and killing lotsa people. Yay kids, we’ll show them old folks!

    1. They were bad even before using all their Duna engine assets cobbled up together to create this godawful thing.

There hasn’t been talent in thede companies for more than a decade now

    2. Lol, I don’t think you know what generic means.

And better they show they true art design than give us cinematic bullshit or heavily processed trailers and then we’ll have you screaming how they downgrade sh*t.

      1. It’s generic scifi built with older DUNIA engine assets.
I don’t think you know what good artistic design is, this is objectively trash.

It looks like an amauter Unity Project with bigger production values.

  7. – “London is a RIGHT mess”.
    – Brexit fearmongering right from E3 stage.
    – Crackdown/Agents of Mayhem art style.
    – Graphics worse than Watch Dogs 1 on PS3/Xbox360/WiiU.
    – Invisibility.

    F**k off and die Ubis**t.

UK is already a police state and all of you left wing commies are not on the resistance side.

    1. Haha this is hilarious… You make an excellent point… The UK has already become a heavily policed minefield of possible felonies. You can’t own guns, you can’t even carry knives, but you CAN allow in more and more radical immigrants that run people over with trucks and throw acid in women’s faces. They see post-Brexit London as being crowded with militarized police guarding very street corner, when the result of Brexit would be to eliminate that necessity.

Brexit and those who voted for it ARE “the resistance”. Being anti-resistance makes you the villainous overlord in this case.

  8. This even worse than WD2…cant they even look back and improve what’s good from WD1?
