Ubisoft has shared a new slide for its FY19 Earnings in which the French company revealed that it has three unannounced games that will be revealed during its fiscal year 2020. What this basically means is that, alongside Ghost Recond Breakpoint, we should expect three new unannounced games to come out before April 2020.
Although we don’t have enough information about these games, our guess is that a new Splinter Cell game will be one of them. Earlier today, Ubisoft’s creative director Julian Gerighty revealed that there is a new Splinter Cell game under development.
Do note that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is a game that has already been announced, meaning that it’s not one of the three unannounced games we mentioned above.
If we had to guess, we’d say that the two of the three unannounced games are the new Splinter Cell and Watch_Dogs 3. As for the third one, could this be Assassin’s Creed 2020 (though we’d expect the new AC game to come out around November 2020 and not during Ubisoft’s FY20)?
Ubisoft has also announced that it is currently looking into entering new gaming genres, segments and business models, and that it aims to create new IPs and new experiences. Moreover, the publisher plans to drive audience and engagement through bigger games and post launch content, bring its established PC and console franchises to mobile and to a much wider audience, and ramp up its capabilities for the upcoming generation of consoles.

That deserved money because it was something new, but i think we already now that the next ubisoft titles will be just cheap copies of the previous games. AC – Odyssey, FC 5 – FC New Dawn.
If being a pirate means that i’m against companies that hurt the customer, then hell yeah, you can call me Jack Sparrow. If the game is good (which it seems that it’s not the case with Ubi), i’ll buy it. If is not, why should i waste my time taking it cracked?
Beyond Good & Evil 2 is about the only promising game from Ubisoft in 2019.

Ubisoft has had a pretty decent year because they have been coming out with pretty decent games. And not garbage optimized games.

Because Mario has a team of grade A designers behind every game and all Ubisoft titles are below average when it comes to game design.
Not even one of Ubisoft games in the past decade was anything more than mediocre.
Nintendo reuses the sames IPs but uses new assets and engines along with actual creative and polished game design, that’s besides the way they monetize their games.
They’re the complete opposite of Ubishaft even if they’re absolutely mediocre nowadays and are now keeping up with god awful modern monetization trends.
Ubi & optimized games.. lol. When you put Uplay+VMP+Denuvo+EAC Custom Checks on a game, it can be anything but optimized.
All their games are resource hogs because of cancer that they put on it all in the name of stopping piracy. Even when the game gets cracked, they don’t remove it. Even EA has removed cancerous sh*t like denuvo in the past but Ubi – never. They know that people will still pre-order and lap up their generic yearly sh*t so why care if the cash is still flowing in.
All their games are generic open world crap – i played AC Origins and it was another generic ubi style game with a world full of meaningless side quests which don’t really add anything to the story and the main quest itself was pretty weak.

Actual games, annual asset flips, or services, Ubisoft? There’s a huge difference. One is a legitimate product for a flat price, one is a reskinning ripoff, and the other is a scam where we end up with far less product but you still make billions to report in your earnings through stealth price gouging. On some OFF TOPIC discussion, is anyone really enjoying playing RAGE 2 ? The graphics and visuals look god-awful to me.
And, what’s up with the PINK color painted everywhere ? It looks very cheap and unnatural, IMO. There are too many colors/shades, and the game’s graphics also do not look like next-gen.
Kind of disappointed with RAGE 2. And, don’t get me started on the Female lead characters in the game. *sigh*
There are a lot of low resolution textures as well, and the Apex game engine doesn’t bring something new to the table either.
oddly, gameplay is decent. i heard overall graphic quality gets better later on.
Art design is good and very idSoftware, very Quake inspired, and the shooting is decent.
Everything else, the exploring and game mechanics, the floaty driving and car combat, the female designs, the godawful quirky humour that feels completely off from the tone of the game, the even shittier writing and tons of exposition, the discardable characters you give no f*ks about, the small but barren open world.
Everything else is godawful and completely disconnected from what could have been a decent FPS, that includes nitpicks like the sh**ty hitmarkers that cover half the f*king gun model that you can’t remove and an extremely low draw distance which is unacceptable considering the platform and engine they’re working on.
just cause 4 had one of the shettiest draw distances i have ever seen as well. since just cause 3 and mad max, they’re just getting worse and worse.
Pretty much, Just Cause 4, Rage 2 and Generation Zero.
Not a single one of these games was any good, just mediocre garbage thag makes the first two Just Cause games look like masterpieces in comparison.
Also, the last of the two founders of the company left some months ago, Avalanche is dead, just another mid sized team stuck in AAA mediocrity.

And imo from what I have been seeing Bethesda is just now living off of ID’s name. Which really sucks for the Rage franchise because Rage originally was meant for so much more but ended up leaving the developers feeling like they could not accomplish the dream.
The original Rage was not perfect but for it’s given time it was pretty high on the visuals / attention to detail. Even with ID Techs old issues with games dealing with textures.
The Apex engine seems like another console in mind engine. A real shame. Thankfully the newest Doom due out does not use it 😀
