Ubisoft has announced that For Honor has surpassed 15 million players worldwide. According to the publisher, the game’s population has continued to grow since launch with the release of several major post-launch updates, new Heroes, gear, training features and the shift to dedicated servers.
Stephane Cardin, senior producer at Ubisoft Montreal, said:
“Warriors fight together and this is exemplified by the ever-growing For Honor community of players worldwide. Over the last year, we have worked tirelessly to do right by our community as we continue to build and expand the world of For Honor, and it is the community’s passion that has ensured that we have been able to stay the course. On behalf of the entire team, we would like to thank the 15 million warriors that have taken up arms and joined us on the battlefield. We are deeply honored to have reached this milestone, and we will continue to support For Honor so that more may enjoy what we’ve built so far.”
Ubisoft has also announced that a free update will be released on October 16th. For Honor’s Marching Fire free update will feature the all-new Attack and Defend Breach Mode and live the fantasy of storming castle walls or fighting to defend your fortress at all costs, as well as a completely revamped experience, with graphical enhancements, design improvements, and all-new features!

Amazing. Who knew a game that has, what feels like a perpetual “free weekend” event, would have raked up so many accounts. Too bad 14.99M of them are abandoned.
DUH
This game was given away FOR FREE
NOT freeweekend but given away for FREE for a whole week in Aug
Does that number include Free Starter Packs? I guess so.
Unfortunately there’s no repercussions in the gaming industry for stating false/misleading claims like this.
