Turkish publisher, Bilkom, claims that Cyberpunk 2077 will release in 2019

Turkish publisher Bilkom may have leaked the year in which Cyberpunk 2077 will release. The publisher claimed yesterday – via a tweet – that CD Projekt RED’s new open-world RPG will release in 2019 in Turkey.

Bilkom appears to be one of CD Projekt RED’s official distributors as it has published The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in Turkey. Bilkom has also worked with other big companies like ASUS, Apple and Warner Bros. In other words, this is a big Turkish publisher/distributor.

CD Projekt RED has not announced anything yet about the release date of Cyberpunk 2077. We do know that the game is in Alpha stage so we are not certain whether this estimated year is valid or not. The Turkish publisher may be merely guessing, though this seems unlikely.

We strongly suggest taking this with a grain of salt. We do know that CD Projekt RED will release Cyberpunk 2077 on current-gen systems (and perhaps on next-gen consoles too) so a 2020 release date seems more logical. I mean, the first gameplay footage we saw from Cyberpunk 2077 was last month and we are almost certain that the team needs more than a year in order to finalize it.

Kudos to Kaan Gezer for informing us!

    1. 2 times total. Was originally slated to release eather the summer ir fall of 2014 but postponed to February 2015 and then finally to May 2015.

  1. Cool, I look forward to playing it 2019-2020. Just because a publisher says it’s coming out, doesn’t mean it necessarily is. How many other times has information like this been wrong? Probably over a dozen by now.

    1. You may be right. With that said it would be some amazing progress if the game does happen to actually come out next year considering they just managed to get to a full play-through stage in the Alpha.

  2. get that in 2020 like gold edition or something. Let’s hope they pull another W3 expansion quality but this time around of CBP2077

  3. I’ll buy it Launch Day, at Full Price, to Support the Company, hell maybe even Pre-Order, along with all DLC, and play it after 1+ year anyway, in order to support the company AMD get the best experience. On GOG as well to boot.

  4. CDPR said that game is already finished, playable from start to finish, now they gonna be tweaking, fixing and optimizing 🙂
