YouTube’s ‘Entertainium’ has shared a new video, showing 24 minutes of gameplay footage from Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. Thronebreaker is described as a single player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics, and this video will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.
In Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, players will follow the story of battle-hardened queen Meve as she takes up arms against the invading Nilfgaardians. Players will build an army, embark on quests, and discover captivating new stories crafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
As we can see, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales uses an isometric viewpoint and cartoon-ish visuals. CD Projekt RED has also released an official story teaser trailer that you can find below.
The game is currently planned for an October 23rd release!

sigh
I don’t understand card games. I don’t get the appeal.
if the graphics looks more appealing like pathfinder kingmaker or pillars of eternity that would be great though.
OMG. they finally did it. they finally made the boring isometric RPG they wanted to make before Witcher 1.
Do I get to pull a diversity card?
If it’s a card game, gtfo. Pass.
waiting for monster hunter world crack is unbearable.
Its a mobile game.
With better graphics and realtime with pause combat (non card) this could have been cool.
