Devolver Digital showcased My Friend Pedro at this year’s PAX West event and IGN has shared a video showing 16 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from it. My Friend Pedro is a platformer/shooter, described as a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man’s struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana.
The game will feature a strategic use of split aiming, slow motion, and the ol’ stylish window breach, creating one sensational action sequence after another in an explosive battle through the violent underworld. Players will be able to unleash a torrent of destruction with an incredible level of control over both your weapons and your body.
It looks really interesting so make sure to watch the video. While its title and its banana concept may sound ridiculous, the actual game looks really cool and it will undoubtedly appeal to a lot of action fans (it’s like a John Woo platformer).

It would be good news if vega56/64 ever sold at msrp and it never did. At prices at they are sold its stupid you should never buy any vega vs gtx1070ti/1080 prices, if you want a great deal buy rx580+3games that is great deal. So this might be awesome news if they can scale it to rx580/570, on vega its just stupid pr stunt same like nvidias raytracing bs

Yes, I’m trying to get a Vega but they are overpriced as hell. With 1080s going for $350 there’s no way I’m paying more than $300 for a V56.

No doubt it’s impressive but the Crossfire/SLI era has pretty much passed us by. Many Developers won’t bother to support it anymore. It’s not worth the money to buy a second card for only a few games that do support it.
