Looks amazing
They already killed Settlers, this is not going to be better than the last one which was awful.
Tell me your secret, how do you manage to look in the future? I want to be able to do that too!
Simple, don’t be a sheep, see Ubi’s history (specially their PC division or their last game in the series) then judge.
I judge by the here and now. Most of Ubi’s recent games were great and now the original creator is behind this. I also watched the german language interviews with the developers. Definitely a buy from me when it turns out to be great. But oh, it’s DSOGaming here, gotta be cynical in the comment section.
Ubi’s recent games are AC Origins and The Crew which are awful by any means. Original creator doesn’t mean s**t, like adding some ex bioware staff to Anthem. that doesn’t make it better specially when publisher has it nose on every single game mechanics. Champions of Anteria was the last Settlers game (this is how you judge). but hey, it’s DSOG here, shills everywhere. Oh mah god Snowdrop bluh bleh!
Agree with Amir here.
Like i said, S2 was the best in the entire series. Why the f. they ever came up with the idea of an overhaul of the classic gameplay and went for 3D graphics and free roam is beyond me.
They also managed to screw up HoMM (basically everything after part 3) as well as other classic games.
Yup they were bad but Champions of Anteria man, it was a whole new level of bad.
Freeserf need to be completed.
Heres hoping its a lot better than the last one. I used to like this series until Settlers 4.
I’m interested. I’d really like to see more games using Snowdrop. So much potential in that engine.
