Monster Hunter World PC release date and PC system requirements to be revealed this Monday

Capcom has announced that it will reveal the PC release date and the official PC system requirements for Monster Hunter World this Monday. The publisher will also reveal the distribution platforms, though we can already guess that the game will come on both Steam and the Windows Store.

Capcom decided to delay the PC version of Monster Hunter World so it can optimize it for the platform. In an interview with Gamesradar, Tsujimoto said that this will be the first Monster Hunter World on PC and Capcom wants to make sure it gets it right.

Monster Hunter: World sees players take on the role of a hunter that completes various quests to hunt and slay monsters within a lively living and breathing eco-system full of predators and prey.

In Monster Hunter: World, players will have a wide variety of gear to assist them in navigating the fantastical environments in the game, including the Glider mantle. Players can use this to extend their air-time after a jump and, as seen in the new trailer, in some areas, they may even be able to catch a lift on a rising wind draft to quickly reach higher ground.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. I’m always confused by this type of replies. Just play on whatever you like/can afford.
Do people get aroused over promoting their own platform and bashing others like it’s a race or pride thing?

Edit: Oh wait, nvm. I see that you’re just an angry person shitposting and getting a kick from finding random fights online in several different articles.
I hope you learn to live with yourself and be less aggressive towards others, otherwise it’s going to leak into your real offline life.

    1. I have a PC, Switch and PS4 but I like gaming on my PC more.

You are a sad, sad person. Just gonna report and block you so I don’t have to deal with your trollish negativity. Good day.

    1. this game is a wet dream for weaboo teenage nerds like yourself. you’re not fooling anyone, you will buy/pirate this game no doubt.

  2. I just ate a whole tub of guac so I’m stuffed, but I’ll come back later and make a comment about this game.

  3. Sony fanboys have already started calling Yakuza trash and calling SEGA a traitor lol.
Just wait when Monster Hunter World and Persona 5 come to PC, they will kill themselves.

  4. Hmm, “Distribution Platform” in singular. The fact that they even mention distribution platform makes me worry it’ll only show up on the Windows store.

    1. Yeah, it’s most likely Steam, but it feels weird they would even mention distribution platform if it’s something as ordinary as Steam.

    1. Yeah, it’s a dumbed down game for western audiences. Fans do not care anymore, casuals is where the money is.

And not only that, it barelly has any content when you compare it with the 3DS ones

  5. Meh. My hype for this game is almost completely gone. I understand a delay, but six months is just absurd. Especially since it was a planned release, unlike other games that released, and then the developers wanted to release a PC version. I feel like it was only that long because they couldn’t be arsed to dedicate a handful of people for a port, or they did it on purpose to try and get more sales like GTAV did. Capcom is pretty large, I’m sure they could have gotten some help, especially considering this runs on the MT Framework engine, which a bunch of other Capcom games run on.

Either way, I may play it, I may not, but I’m definitely not excited for it whatsoever like I was before.

    1. The “we want to make it the best for PC” excuse is exactly that. The real reason for the delay on PC is 100% and without question to grab double dippers because they know PC gamers are willing to shell out a bit more for our gaming experiences and will be less likely to hold our wads waiting for the delayed PC version.

    1. Didn’t play this MH yet but as an veteran on the MH series if it is like the others than yes it is grindy, specially to make some weapons or armors that depend of a certain drop.

I mean don’t get me wrong the game is VERY FUN ( again talking about the series in general ) but the fun in the game is fighting the monster and learn their patterns, most monsters (Aside from the variations of the same monster) have completely different move-sets making most fights hard and fresh, also there is a large amount of play-styles (14 at total) each one completely different of each other.

My suggestion if you want to have an idea of the gameplay try playing MH3rd via PPSSPP on PC, while is quite an old and much has been changed in the latter games, you still can grasp of the overall gameplay mechanichs and see it if you like it or not.

If you do indeed decide to try the game, keep in mind that while the game have an SP “campaign” and the MP mode can be finished solo, many would agree that playing with friends makes it much more fun.

  6. Because Sony Slave are desperate to hold on to anything that can make their pathetic PS4 seem valuable. Any game coming to the Xbox One doesn’t matter as no one cares about the Xbox One. That’s why Kingdom Hearts 3 coming to PC will effect them more.

  7. I’m not obligated to release proof confirming my identity just because I’m a wild guacamole enthusiast. This is 2018. You can be anything you want to be.
