XSEED Games has announced that it will bring Bullet Witch and SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal to the PC in 2018. As the press release reads, the cult-favorite action adventure title Bullet Witch, previously an exclusive on Xbox 360, will come out on April 25th and will feature visual and gameplay improvements to bring it in line with modern gaming standards.
In Bullet Witch, players take control of Alicia and her powerful, multi-purpose “gunrod” to lay waste to demonic foes by bullet or spell, even using the surrounding environment as part of her arsenal. All original cosmetic and content DLC is included in this re-release, providing access to every in-game costume immediately and adding bonus missions that expand the length of the campaign well beyond the story’s conclusion.
On the other hand, SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal is an HD remake of the already enhanced first title in the series, SENRAN KAGURA Burst. SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal will bring a full 3D experience and fresh, new mechanics to fans of the action-focused series, and is currently scheduled for a Fall 2018 release.
SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal brings the prior release’s classic 2.5D action to modern hardware with a full 3D remake and a fresh retelling of the story that started it all. This fast-paced brawler will provide updated combat mechanics and character models, as well as all-new special effects for a voluptuous visual feast! The series’ popular Dressing Room mode continues to see expansions too, with a wealth of new outfits and options that allow players to customize their favorite girls’ looks and styles. With additional DLC episodes to come that will reveal new story episodes for Yumi and Miyabi detailing their histories prior to meeting Asuka and Homura, SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal delivers an authentic recreation of the original game while ensuring that series fans will have plenty of new content to look forward to.

I had never heard of either but Bullet Witch looks interesting.
It’s a bullet I recommend you dodge.
DODGE THAT WITCH HO!!!
It’s not the best game ever. Good ideas, flawed execution. Like most Hack and Slash games that aren’t God of War, Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta, DMC, or Prince of Persia.

Whoo Bullet Witch, now if they bring in Lolipop chainsaw, Wet and Ninja Gaiden I will have all the needed action games.
Wow, I haven’t thought about Wet in ages. Yeah I’d buy that in a heartbeat. The demo was fun from what I recall. Despite the game’s flaws I’d really love that and LC on PC.
better than max payne 3
i want wet 2…
I remember playing Bullet Witch. It was CRAP.
I remember lot of people thought it was crap and it sold poorly.
I actually enjoyed it thou 😀
played it and beat it. it was “ok”, pretty catchy main character to say the least. never thought this would land on pc…..in this point in time. if i remember correctly the framerate was not always stable. I hope the pc version gets a bunch of settings to mess around with.
I’m glad these old console exclusives are coming to PC like Megaman X, all the SF2s, Soul Calibur, DMC HD, Bullet Witch, Okami, Vanuish, Bayonetta…. Now if we could kindly please get Resonance of Fate and Lollipop Chainsaw and MGS Legacy.
And also please Ninja Gaiden black, 2, and 3 Razor’s Edge. We know EA will never port Dante’s Inferno but could we get some old Burnout please.
I actually never bought this on 360 the first time. I had a huge (for console) collection of games and simply never got around to playing most of them. A lot of them were still in the shrink wrap when I sold them.
YES! I remember that was quite a lot of console exclusives that I liked like Head-Off, Splatterhouse, Shadows Of The Damned….there was so many console exclusives last generation that sold poorly and I really think it was partly because they were not released on PC as well.
Buuuut I kinda get it. I bet developing for those platforms was a nightmare on it’s own. So to make game for all 3 platforms were really like making 3 widely different versions as far as programming goes. It’s not like now where both PS and Xbox are pretty much like custom PC rigs.
This is a reason why I think Rockstar gonna release RDR2 on PC for sure! Thou not right away.
Ok except that logic is completely non existent and wrong. I’m not trying to say Uncharted or Gord of War or Last of Us are good, but Mario? Megaman X? Zelda? Mario Kart? Sorry buddy, There are tons of good console exclusives. More games coming to PC is never a bad thing.
For that matter, a lot of 360 exclusives were on PC.
Bullet Witch….. because it went over so well the first time.
I guess Automata’s recent popularity sparked someone to give this failure another go, in hopes of riding its success.
I don’t see the similarity to Automata.
Made by the same people essentially.
yes.. all Japanese are the same….
ugh
I’d love to know just what kind of “visual” improvements they are adding to the game.
I’d like to see updated lighting and improved textures/shadows, as well as an unlocked framerate.
A bit late for the double dip, guys.
first game i ever bought/played on xbox 360
All flopped game on PS3 should be release on PC,it will help the dev gain extra cash…
and sunset overdrive.
