Overkill has shared the first dev diary for its upcoming The Walking Dead game in which it revealed the game’s first in-engine footage. This video shows some of the interior environments, as well as some exterior shots of some buildings.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a co-op first-person shooter with elements of action, role-playing, survival horror and stealth. The game will invite players to explore the hugely popular The Walking Dead universe, where they will play the role of survivors fending for themselves in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by flesh-eating walkers.
The game is currently planned for a Fall 2018 release.

I wasn’t a fan of SoD but I for one am not tired of zombie games and this one has me intrigued, so that is proof that he is wrong.

You need to look up what the word “artist” means in the context of developing video games.
I know what it means, I also know that video games are quite often considered to be “art” these days as well, however, so regardless of the existence of a video game artist as a professional career, there’s also the video game development teams as a whole who are considered to be “artists.”
Movies have art directors, that doesn’t mean the actual director isn’t considered an artist as a result of that, nor is the medium itself not considered an art form simply because someone’s professional job title has the word “art” / “artist” in it.
