First-person horror adventure TheNightfall is now available on Steam

VIS-Games and SilentFuture announced today the release of their latest psycho-horror-spectacle TheNightfall. According to its description, this enthralling first-person indie game takes players into the depths of the human psyche and promises exciting thrills of a very special kind.

In TheNightfall, the player slips into on the role of a likable US-American woman named Victoria, who moves with her family to a new town to start her new job there. Since her husband and her children won’t follow until the next day, Victoria has to spend the first night in her new house alone – but what happens there is completely different than expected. What starts with insomnia and a slight discomfort evolves into an absolute nightmare during the course of hours.

TheNightfall does not rely on splatter effects but on fine psycho horror of a very special kind. While the player explores Victoria’s new home and its interactive environment, the game and its increasingly oppressive atmosphere sets him more and more under pressure over time. In addition to the thrilling story, the creepy soundscape and the realistic graphics, including the eerie light and shadow effects, promise to provide pure thrill and numerous shock moments never seen before.

Enjoy!

  1. If someone breaks into your house, blast the trailer music at volume 10 and i am certain they will run back to their mommy.

  2. When will this trend of sh*tty walking simulators with zero combat gonna end?

Gone are the days of horror games in where you can actually defend yourself?

    1. Until we have no mindless, stupid wannabes with no creativity, trying to attempt to make a game! And since the world is full of wannabes…I don’t think its gonna end ever!!!

      1. Amenesia and Outlast is responsible for spawning this garbage form of horror. Literally running and hiding from NPC’s 24/7. Boring af.

    1. I was pretty much gonna say that!
This is a pathetic product to actually call a game! THIS IS NOT A GAME…just a terrible outcome of learning how to make a game evironment!
