Maximum Games and Iron Galaxy Games have announced that their upcoming action title, Extinction, will not include any microtransactions. In addition, the publisher has released a new gameplay trailer for it, detailing its skills and strategy mechanics.
In Extinction, players will be able to use a variety of tactics and skills. Players will become more efficient in combat, empowered with an arsenal of abilities that may help sway the battle for humanity’s survival in their favor.
Players will also be able to sprint across rooftops, alongside buildings and through crumbling villages ravaged by the encroaching army, using speed and strategy to save humanity from these immense monsters, each equipped with various types of weapons and armor.
Extinction targets a Q1 2018 release.
Enjoy!

The only thing that could kind of qualify as a video game where microtransactions would make sense would be a VR simulation of real life, like the Metaverse. It would work because there are microtransactions in real life so it’d make sense that you’d have to buy little “wants” or you could just do menial tasks to earn them. Same thing.
Amazing how the backlash against microtransactions has been so immediate and fierce, like an angry bowel movement.
Wow. I actually might play this.
Attack on Titan was too, well you know, anime.
I can dig this style and setting more.
Here’s to it being a good game.
that will be fun for a short time, then….you wont play it again, too repetitive.
Without co-op I don’t feel compelled to play this game
