HTC & Valve Team Up For Virtual Reality Headset
During yesterday’s Mobile World Congress event, HTC announced that it is working with Valve on a new virtual reality headset called HTC Vive. HTC also revealed that this headset will be made available to the public by the end of this year, and that in Spring 2015 it will release a “Developer Edition”. Quixel’s Jungle Environment – Direct-Feed Screenshots in Glorious 4K Resolution
Yesterday we shared a video showing off Quixel’s latest environment created with Megascans in Unreal Engine 4. As we all know, YouTube greatly degrades visuals, therefore today we are sharing the first direct feed images from that map. While Quixel’s environment is not as realistic – in terms of colours – as Crysis, it can be easily described as a true next-gen version of the first Far Cry game.
