SuperSexySoftware has teamed up with Deck13 (developers of Lords of the Fallen and The Surge) to release their ambitious debut title, The Shattering. As the press release reads, the first person psychological horror adventure will be released in 2018 on PC.
The Shattering is about a fragile mind trying to piece itself together after tragic events.
The player explores the mind of a man trapped inside his self-created hell.
Marta Szymanska, Founder of SuperSexySoftware, said:
“You have lots of horror games nowadays but they are more about jumpscares and sadly not so much about what actually scares us. We want to change that. Our idea is to confront the player with the hidden fears that lie beneath an idyllic illusion of normalcy, only then one can truly understand the despair of the hero.”
It is also said that the character will show realistic body reactions in moments of stress and fear.
To celebrate today’s announcement SuperSexySoftware and Deck13 have released five fresh pre-gamescom screenshots showing off the unique style of the game.
Enjoy!

Lazy garbage.
How to save money on not having to texture or shade almost anything: make everything white.
It IS textured and shaded though, just in black and white.
It’s probably easier than making color textures, but not by that much.
There are a few low quality textures here and there. The rest re-uses the same white color and shader.
I await for you to make a game. Then we can all judge it 🙂
The age old Appeal to Accomplishment fallacy.
this game better have the best ambient occlusion of all time because that’s all you can see lmao
I like the art style personally. They really need to add some AA up in hurrr.
Someone mentioned “why they show non fully texture-mapped screenshots?” lol
