Kingdom Come: Deliverance – Alpha Version Releases On September/October

Warhorse Studios revealed that the alpha version of its CRYENGINE-powered RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, will be released on September/October. The alpha version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be released exclusively on the PC as it is not able to distribute pre-alpha versions through PS network.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will come in the form of three acts and will offer you a world similar to the size of Oblivion.

In terms of combat mechanics, players won’t be able to hold block constantly. By doing that, players will consume their characters’ stamina, something that will obviously put you into a lot of trouble.

Furthermore, the combat won’t be similar to Assassin’s Creed in which players face only one enemy at a time.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I remember being really impressed and hopeful for this at first but then they showed off some combat and it was horrible. I hope they were able to turn it around.

    1. Combat used placeholder animations and wasn’t balanced, they just wanted to show the general idea and control scheme. I didn’t even think it looked bad. I would prefer something more freeform like Dark Messiah had but then again Dark Messiah wasn’t realistic in any way and this game is about actual medieval Europe, “no dragons” and all.

  2. Alpha might be a lot better than the final product, why? because it’ll be exclusive to PC.

The final product might be dumbed down considering the scope of the game and what those consoles can handle. So my fellow PC gamers, enjoy the Alpha as much as you can.

    1. That makes no sense. Going by your logic, the current alpha/demo version of The Witcher 3 will better than the final release. Since they will have to dumb the game down for consoles.

      1. nope. TW3’s demo/alpha is already available on consoles and Alpha ver. is never the dumbed down (it’s like less than half of the real content of the game dammit!). So no…. no thanks. sorry.

  3. After how much they have been hyping the campaign, if it is anything less than memorable, I will be disappointed. 🙁
