Well, it was only a matter of time. We knew that Nvidia will release a new set of drivers for Ubisoft’s open world title, though we didn’t know when. The owner of Guru3D, Hilbert Hagedoorn, has confirmed that both Nvidia and AMD will release new drivers tomorrow that will be optimized for Watch_Dogs.
As Hilbert wrote:
“BTW both AMD and NVIDIA WILL release an optimized driver tomorrow. We already have access to these and NO we can not distribute it just yet.“
Watch_Dogs releases – officially – tomorrow on all platforms.

Atleast hopefully by the time I get my copy on friday these drivers should give a performance boost,can’t wait to play it, but really feel that these graphic downgrades are ever so intentional, I mean if a pc could run it in 2012 why can’t it now? but I bet if one asked one would get a crappy PR reply.
The Nvidia driver is probably just going to be the WHQL version of 337.81 which has been available for over a week.
337.81/82 are very bad drivers in general not just for Watch Dogs!

Heh, got the best funny ripped version. DLed it, played it. I have now a i5-3570K @4.0 Ghz 8 gb Ram and a 750 Ti GFX card and i decided to play this game on all medium settings. Game is great to tell the truth. Looks great on medium even lol. Good enough for me at least lol. Fun as hell to run around and try to hack and get missions. Im surprised how good the game looks at medium settings during the rain when i had it going , truly great gaming there lol.

I hope this does well and gets a sequel. All my favorite games happen to be sequels. Usually they correct their mistakes and add in more of what people want.
Sounds like Watch Dogs isn’t performing so well on AMD hardware, probably because Nvidia has gotten in bed with Ubisoft for the game :/
