Xenia – Most Promising Xbox 360 Emulator – New Video Shows In-Game Footage From “The Conveni 200X”

Ben Vanik has shared a video, showing off the most promising X360 emulator running a commercial game. While the game itself does not contain complex visuals and the framerate is really low, the fact that an emulator can boot a commercial X360 game is HUGE. The game showcased is The Conveni 200X; a convenience store simulation game designed for X360. Enjoy!

      1. Also ps2 emulation isnt perfect and games miss important graphic effects. For example in god of war there’s no character shadows, water effects, fog, and bloom.

        1. I don’t think they will be perfect. N64 and PS1 emulation still has some glitches here and there. They will be as close to perfect as they can but not perfect.

      2. SO, to go to the next console software emulation, devs needs to emulate the older system 100% perfectly?
        Wheres these kids come from?

        1. From 2015. If it ain’t 200 % perfect, QQ about it. But really, he does have a point. PS2 emulator(s) are kind of.. broken and buggy sometimes. How fast do you think we will have a working game (from the good ones) at 30 fps without crashing it every 5 secs? Also a game that has 70 % of the textures and effects?

    1. tbh the ps3 emulator looks way more promising than xenia. It also already played numerous commercial games, like disgaea 4

    2. Dont you think we have enough games to play… I wanted to play some PSX and PS2 games because the nostalgia, but theres nothing that causes me that feeling on XBOX360 or PS3 games.

      1. Uncharted? Killzones? God of war 3? Last of us? Red dead redemption 3? Yea. There are a ton of games i want to play. I sure won’t buy a crappy console to do so, even less on a low resolution without any AA. I’m fine without those games, but i sure would love to try them some day.

If they release them on the PC, it’s gonna be a day one for most of those, sadly Sony will never do it.

  1. I think working so hard on a xbox 360 emulator might not be as good as it was for PS2 emulator coz more than half of the good one’s from xbox 360 are already on PC so whatever left on 360 like RDR, Forza and Some other games I think better buy a cheap used console play those games and be done with them coz if the emulator will takes years to just run games smoothly on PC I seriously its not worth it but that is just my opinion and I am clearly not here to bash anyone or anything 😉

    1. I waited years for most PS3/Xbox 360 games. I’m willing to wait 10 more. I’m not dying to play those exclusive games, and i sure as hell aint dying to buy a crappy old console. (no offence to the console loving peps)

  2. who cares? i want an original xbox emulator, that system actually had some great games. 360 is only multiplats and halo/gears.

  3. PS3 emulator is more welcome because as someone said most of Xbox exclusivities aren’t fun to play, only few of them.

  4. A waste of time. Bet this project will die out soon just like the emulator for the original Xbox did. Less than 10 exclusives that will probably be on PC anyway soon. (Halo and Gears games)

  5. Cool 🙂 I wonder when XBOX 360 emulators will be able to run really complex games. Xenia can run only very simple games. Any1 knows how many games can run?
