Bethesda has released a brand new gameplay trailer in which the Resistance rise up to strike fear in the Nazis. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus sends players on a mission to recruit the boldest Resistance leaders left and fight back against the Nazis in iconic locations such as small-town Roswell, New Mexico, the flooded streets of New Orleans, and a post-nuclear Manhattan.
Players will equip themselves with an arsenal of badass guns, and unleash new abilities to blast their way through legions of advanced Nazi soldiers, cyborgs, and über soldiers in this new first-person shooter.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is powered by the id Tech 6 Engine and is currently planned for an October 27th release.

The fact you kill some kind of enemy is irrelevant in fps, the point is to have good shooting mechanics and wolfenstein new order and doom have by far the best shooting mechanics.

What story set in the previous games? All of this is rejected the game doesnt even feel like it follows the tone of the previous game.
New Order isn’t exactly a reboot, so at least some of the story elements of the previous games is still there.

The Outsider, that brilliant dark being who mercilessly tormented the incredible hero Corvo and the twisted assassin Daud turns out to be a whimpering little boy who must be rescued from some incorporeal darkness. Charisma? Nah. Power? Nah. Because in this brave new world, even the most epic villain must also be a victim.
Daud just… dies in the meh-est way possible. He was being held in a fighting ring in which he had won 78 fights according to the tally board, but as soon as Billie gets him out he keels over, I suspect simply to avoid being involved in the rest of this unrelenting cringefest
The story makes no sense, the levels are cut down from previous games and re-used in this game, so there’s really only three or so. The ‘new abilities’ everyone’s foaming over aren’t nearly enough to make up for the **** show – and for some reason the developers decided to give Billie basically all stealth abilities while making combat basically unavoidable.
The only saving grace is that the game is over in a handful of hours, so at least you won’t waste too much of your time on this PC takeover of what is one of the best franchises ever made.
It really is a forced production made for a specific purpuse. Same this series has to end like that. Oh well you gotta sacrifice some to get people to wake up.

Well, a year or two ago id agree with you. But now, the media have made everything political both the gaming press and the tech press cant shut up about their politics and everything they do, they always shove it in there. Even hollywood is doing it. I am a oldschool gamer, i liked the old days that games were games and it was all about gameplay. Now games are filled with cutscenes and the last 2-3 year all games trying to be political as heck. I fear that there is no future in AAA gaming other from political themed games and multiplayer games….and if you happen to be too political or the devs too Dbag like lawbreakers, then there is no future there.
I am looking forward to japanesse games and cyberpunk because i know the developers of those studios are not drunk on some “progressive” kool aid like the west is. I hope that this “trend” if you can call it like that will finally end at some point, after all games that embraced this trend, mass effect andromeda, watch dogs 2, battleborn, takoma and others flopped.
But i fear that gameplay is thrown to the garbage bin for sending political messages. I dont think this is going away and god knows i want it to go away.
Maybe its for the best that you will ban people posting political stuff, that way we can talk about the game and not get distracted but i fear that most of what is left in games now is story, story which is forced down your throat and its always political. I don’t get the impression it was ever that clear, hence why you’re having this problem to begin with. For instance I thought that “no politics” applied to the articles published rather than the comments section. I think warning people before giving bans is probably more important than even the banning itself, if the ban comes out of nowhere, no boundaries will have been established, people will just have to guess what those boundaries are, and imaginations will start running wild about whether they’re being enforced evenly, so an editorial is probably a good way to give a proper site-wide warning.
I haven’t been this excited for the SP portion of a game in a long time.
Not really liking the overtly “contemporary” jokes in the trailer. Would’ve preferred the more tongue-in-cheek humor from the previous games. Otherwise it loses its charm.

I understand that John don’t want this gaming community to turn into a political warfare, but as the gamers, and mostly PC gamers are generally grown up men and women, and games are pushing quite and agenda, i think this will be an impossibility, people are concious and want to spread their word because it’s REALITY with are dealing with, and it will knock your door, on moment or the other, a GAMER SANCTUARY “FORUM” will not be able to maintain itself once the games are not immaculate from political agendas.
