Hashbane has released a pre-alpha gameplay trailer for its upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered dinosaur shooter, Instinction. The last time we saw Instinction in action was in April 2022, so it’s been over a year since then. And, as you can see, Instinction is at least a great looker.
Instinction promises to offer a cinematic story action adventure with combat, exploration and puzzles, where the environments can be as treacherous and beautiful as the creatures you encounter.
From what we know so far, Instiction will take advantage of both DLSS and Ray Tracing on PC. Additionally, UE5 will allow the team to further push the lighting and model quality among other improved capabilities.
There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. However, Hashbane claimed that a Playtest will begin soon.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

White nerds like dinosaurs as much as black nerds like robots.
back in the old days we didnt have photoreallistic graphics so everyone wanted them. Nowadays we know that all games are gonna be the same and all the graphics are bullshots. Back in the day a game could be anything, now we know that if the graphics are too impressive and there is barely any gameplay or hud, then its a tech demo without worthwhile gameplay.
this will have a women protagonist by the looks of it. I’m shocked…
It’s been so long since we had a “realistic” dinosaur game.
