Transformers Devestation was pretty stale if I am being honest, and I feel this is a retread. The last quality game platinum put out was probably Bayonetta 2. I assume these are all rubbish side projects while the main team is concentrating on Nier Automata and Scalebound. For PC its seems kind of unfair, they have two great games for each of the consoles while we just get these throwaway garbage. Atleast have some decency and port the old good games to us. Or we will just emulate ILLEGALLY cause we are all pirates. Arrr! Hrrr!

I have to agree on all fronts, I did not like Transformers Devastation, and it actually looks like they may be re using some of that bland cityscape in that here. Aslo agree that its been a while since glory like Metal Gear R, but on the plus side I remember reading that there’s a decent chance Scalebound will make its way to PC , which would be awesome, everything I’ve seen of that looks great and most neg comments are rooted in people hurt that its a Microsoft exclusive.
And finally agree on the old games being awesome, The way to go is mame, emulating the arcade classics as the console ports from way back when where just watered down imitations of the arcade original due to system power.
Lastly despite all that above I’ll get this game anyway, why? because its freaking Plat, and Ninja Turtles duh!
as you said the issue here is that they are cashgrabbing with these titles probably. at least with Korra it felt that way and i didn’t buy their Transformer game. Activision is only good for getting these type of licenses anyway and Platinum is using that for their B team while their main teams are busy making exclusives.
this is why i don’t like Platinum anymore and i feel bad for Platinum fanboys cause Platinum doesn’t give a sh*t about any of them when they make deals with platform owners.
on the plus side, chances of having Nier Automata and Scalebound on PC too at some point aren’t that low.
Didnt sony paid them to make Automata ps4 only. Or is it something like SF5 where sony didnt prevent capcom from releasing sf5 on pc but not on xbox?
