Take a look at the real-time ray tracing effects of Boundary

Surgical Scalpels has shared a new video, showcasing the real-time ray tracing effects of Boundary. From what we can see, the team has used RTX in order to enhance the game’s reflections.

As the team noted, this is a WIP video and does not represent the quality of the final product. In other words, the game may feature better – or worse – RTX effects. Moreover, the team did not reveal the performance hit that these effects bring to the table.

Boundary is a multiplayer tactical space-based shooter that puts players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types across 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.

Surgical Scalpels plans to release Boundary later this year on the PC.

Enjoy!

  1. It looks great with and without RTX, but boy does that FPS really chug when RTX comes on. No way that’s playable while in multiplayer.

  2. All i can see is that everything is more shiny..RTX is really not worth the premium if that is all it offers.
