Stealth-action adventure game, Steel Seed, gets new gameplay trailer

Storm in a Teacup just dropped a fresh gameplay trailer for its new game called Steel Seed. Steel Seed is a single-player stealth action-adventure game. The trailer shows off how you can explore the game world and get into fights. So, be sure to check it out.

In Steel Seed, you play as Zoe who is accompanied by a flying drone, Koby. The game is set in a dark sci-fi world in which you’ll have to investigate the depths of a hostile underground facility in search of answers and the key to the survival of mankind.

Zoe will have some parkour skills that players can use to traverse the underground facility and gain a tactical advantage. Moreover, you will be able to avoid some confrontations through efficient movement.

Interestingly enough, and although there isn’t any specific ETA on when it will come out, Storm in a Teacup has also shared the game’s PC system requirements. PC gamers will at least need an Intel i5-6500 or AMD equivalent with 16GB of RAM and an NvidiaGTX 1070, AMD Radeon RX 580 or an Intel ARC 580.

The developers recommend using an Intel Core i7 4770K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2070, AMD Radeon RX 5700 or an Intel ARC 770. The game will also require 50GB of free disk space.

So yeah, these are some really low PC specs. Unfortunately, though, the devs haven’t shared the graphics settings, resolution, and framerate that these PC requirements target.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

        1. The game as a whole isn’t impressive nor groundbreaking or surprising, it’s a PS2 era hack & slash with modern graphics, i really appreciate the fact that the devs didn’t get intimidated and managed to put a great looking and sexy protag but that’s about everything the game has to offer, don’t let your appreciation for cake destroy your objectivity, i bet if the protag was a random Dante wannabe everyone would’ve forgot about this game before release, even better, if the protag was a woke muscular lesbian with afro hair everyone would immediately see how uninteresting and unimpressive it is

          1. Good yes, but simplistic and often relie on button mashing and QTEs, not a big deal if you take the game for what it is, the expression you used “we have Stellar Blade at home” makes it look like some genius level game which is not, Stellar Blade itself is a DMC/Bayonetta at home

          2. Lol you all just want cake, if it was a Souls clone with the same cake you’ll be as excited

          3. I dont know for rogue-likes but it’s all normal for a compulsive button masher to hate souls-like games

          4. my issue with souls like games is that they are boring and grindy, i wouldnt call dmc games button mashers ,you still do combos, souls like games are very slow heavy and boring games that you attack once and dodge INTO THE ENEMY because you dont actually dodge attacks, you abuse the invincibility frames, so when the dodge animation is displaying you cant take damage, because dodging away from large enemies would mean that by the time the dodge finishes and you regained stamina and you run back to the position you dodged from the large monster has already started attacking again. Its too slow and repettive and the upgrade system is grindy trash. No thanks. The is a reason there are so many of these games and so many studios make clones, they are easy to make.

You missed the great era of infinite Hack & Slash garbage in the PS2 days as i can see

            “you abuse the invincibility frames”
Did that on so many button mashers before, a lot of enemies especially in Elden Ring are designed to roll-catch you, it’s a misconception that rolling is the solution for all the problems, it’s far from it

” i wouldnt call dmc games button mashers ,you still do combos”
Still, a compulsive button masher can play, enjoy and finish these games without bothering at all

“souls like games are very slow heavy”
In what world slow means bad ? So in your world Burnout is better than a sim racer, and COD is better than ArmA for that simple reason ?
These games also have great exploration, top notch level design and art style, and deep character upgrading, even if you’re not interested in the combat these games have so much more to offer, just by trying magic you could discover a whole new gameplay.

“Its too slow and repettive ”
Coming from a DMC enjoyer, seriously ? DMC is a notorious case of extreme repetitiveness, they even forced you to back-track all your progression in the second half of DMC4 and extreme mob/level recycling in DMC3 and 5

            “the upgrade system is grindy”
Nope, most people who grind on Souls game are either new-comers or noobs, the devs made the upgrading grindy for a purpose, so instead of killing rats for 8h and the go blast everyone, you’ll actually have to progress yourself and not your character

          6. when you say hack and slash you dont mean diablo clones?

i have not played a souls like since dark souls

“In what world slow means bad ?”

in a world that i like speed, speedy techno music, speed, fast paced games like turbo overkill and echo point nova.

“So in your world Burnout is better than a sim racer”

yes and i dont even like burnout

‘ COD is better than ArmA for that simple reason ?”

yes arma is boring unless you play with friends.

“These games also have great exploration, top notch level design and art style, and deep character upgrading, ”

so does skyrim and you can even go stealth.

” they even forced you to back-track all your progression in the second half of DMC4 ”

yes i dont like that they did that in dmc 4 because they run out of budget but souls likes games make you grind in the same areas to get stronger.

“Nope, most people who grind on Souls game are either new-comers or noobs, the devs made the upgrading grindy for a purpose, so instead of killing rats for 8h and the go blast everyone, you’ll actually have to progress yourself and not your character”

am sorry but thats bullsht, the game was sold to me like that, supposedly it takes skill, but nope, your attacks are so weak against bosses that you need to upgrade, i watched countless playthroughs of dark souls and bloodborne and in both games everyone is grinding to upgrade you are full of sht, dmc relies far less on upgrading than dark souls. You cant even use better amor without upgrading poise, its bs. Everyone who doesnt grind takes the armor off so they can dodge and then rely on invincibility frames while dodging into an enemy and parrying attacks and backstabs to compensate for being too weak. This is like speedrunning a game with exploits, tis not fun.

      1. That’s what all these people like durka durka care about. If you put one of those inflated carrot looking p*rnstars in a game, these people would be all over it, it gets them even harder if they’re in a school outfit.

  1. Well it certainly is targeting a section of the male demographic, which is a bit cringe-worthy. But if it has a good storyline and decent gameplay it should sell.
