Ubisoft has released a 10-minute gameplay video for its upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars Outlaws. This extended gameplay video shows off some of the game’s environments and general mechanics. So, make sure to watch it.
Star Wars Outlaws is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. In this game, players will explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new.
Players will assume the role of Kay Vess; an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life. Alongside Vess, players will find her companion Nix. Players will fight, steal, and outwit their way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as they join the galaxy’s most wanted.
The game will also have Ray Tracing effects, and it will support DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction. Ubisoft and NVIDIA haven’t shared any additional details about these RT effects. My guess is that we might get RTGI, similar to what we saw in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Ubisoft will release this new Star Wars game on August 30th.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

graphics look amazing
lets just say im happy we see more of her backside than her front.
Yeah, the Jay Leno chin they gave her is a bit disturbing…
That's not the only disturbing feature.
It's made by Ubisoft tho, so that's pretty much in our faces.
that is true
OK, it's Assassin's Creed: Star Wars.
slightly better looking than I had expected; still have to wait for mods to fix it – and only then if i can be bothered pirating it.
mods cant fix ubisoft games. Their files are encrypted.
You can do some textures swaps. It's not so much they are encrypted, more like a special archive file format, it's just they use prebaked scripts to control everything while highly moddable games like Skyrim and Witcher 3 use "compile at runtime" scripting, so if you make changes to scripted function it just recompiles the scripts.
For instance you can take a program called Blacksmith to break down .forge files (AC and Steep) go in and look at all the textures and get their ID codes and then either swap them or create a new texture to replace that code. Then you use a program called Forger which lets you write a small script which will swap or replace that texture at runtime via memory injection
so their files are encrypted.
Why doesn't Ubisoft include create a character? They're literally flushing down sales without it.
because kathleen kenedy and the rest of the "the force is female" brigade told them to turn this han solo game into mam solo.
because their lousy devs that are run by stakeholders don't know how to integrate that into cutscenes. Pathetic really
Of course the alien cowboy is gay. Of. Course. He. Is.
its a middle aged woman. Because of course it is, this is who runs star wars now.
looked pretty mid overall
i see "jediabetes" is in the game, also of course the legendary gunslinger is a old woman, OF COURSE. Every important tough character is a woman. Come on. Also while the visuals and enviroments are top notch i hate the camera and the combat.
No Black lesbian Jedi, no buy!
Best i can do is indian, take it or leave it.
Game looks better than I expected. I think ill still wait for a sale or try to burn through it one month with that subscription they have going. I don't recall anything else big being out that month.
edit: damn, forgot about Stalker 2 being the week after.
