The PC closed alpha phase of Star Wars: Battlefront is a go and as you’d expect, PC gamers have been sharing their experience on YouTube. Electronic Arts and DICE however have been taking down these videos. Below you can find one showing the Snow level in action on a single GTX680. We’ll be replacing broken links and adding new videos. Enjoy!

  1. 120fps on ultra with a 980ti? Pretty good performance for the looks. 980 should do well enough in 1440p then.

  2. So far I have had no server crashes or crashes in general. Game on Ultra. AA option is kinda funny just has low, med, high but hey it’s a Alpha. Really smooth and no stutters. Plus it’s nice to play a FPS that nobody is using aim bots on.

Ultra 1080p. I7 4770K with 970 GTX. Seen frames go down to 44fps at times but overall very smooth.

    1. i have to say at least visually this game looks really good. not talking about graphics, talking about capturing the atmosphere of star wars. still gonna wait for reviews (should see if it worth the price tag) before buying though. also i am fine with gameplay being simple as long as it is not clunky.

      1. I am just glad the games lives up to the lvl of detail what was shown at E3. And that is was not pre rendered BS. As well with how smooth it’s running in both single and mp.

        1. yea i expected good graphics though cause Frostbite 3 (yea i like that engine). i expect lack of enough time and budget to make masterpieces though cause EA.

  3. Ultra with just a bit lowered AA on 1080p i get 80+ PFS good job DICE i have not seen a single FPS drop using just one GTX 680 2GB and i7 3770k ,16 GB RAM and the game was installed on my SSD’s

  4. It doesnt look too bad, they have captured the essence quite well and that coop mode looks like it will be fun.
