        1. Congratulations! You have just collected a $1.53 payment that has been deposited to your account.

          ……………………………………………….Thank You Again…………………..
          …………………………………………………….Your Buds at Dice……………….

    1. That’s because much like Battlefield 4, it’s the game we should have gotten all along, if only EA wasn’t more interested in vomiting something out in time to coincide with The Force Awakens’ theatre debut.

Seriously, if they’d taken another year to figure their sh*t out, this is basically what we’d have gotten from them, instead of that barebones DLC-riddled piece of sh*t joke.

      1. to be fair, games cost alot to make this game and take alot of time to make, i wouldnt blame EA for everything.

Anyway just imagine what could achieved with this engine in terms of a good story campaign if they didnt have incompetent sjws writing the story.

        1. True, but they seem to have spent most of their 3 years “in development” scanning the sh*t out of the LucasArts figurine museum & giving each other handjobs, rather than actually creating content, so the time & money spent on this is only so justifiable, really.

Hell, if it didn’t have the words “Star Wars” in the title, instead of netting 30 million sales it would have fallen flat on its face, as it oh-so-very-much f*cking deserved. Sadly, that was not the case.

Agreed. Also, I’m loving the buzzwords; “essential Star Wars story.”

Isn’t it funny how oh-so-often something is just oh-so-essential, right until it launches & it turns out that it’s actually in fact just a ridiculously irrelevant, extremely superfluous piece of sh*t fluff, with (in this case, at least) a heavy side of political correctness “because pandering sells!”?

          1. man when you got a movie rogue one after the main movie, there is no such thing as essential, star wars fans are stupid so disney and ea are milking them, thats it, they are milking you.

Now back to jedi knight 2.

          2. Lets be honest though, both KotOR games are buggy as balls and their gameplay is a little janky. Still was hooked on them from start to finish

          3. Yeah. KotOR II was even more buggy than the original game because the publisher rushed its release.

  1. Let’s hope the campaign will be different than the one in Battlefield 1, which served more like an extended tutorial than campaign.

      1. TOO MUCH LOGIC.

Seriously mate, stop thinking so hard, you make them look bad.

Besides, Star Wars is dark! And edgy! And multi-racial! And all that other goodie-goodie stuff!

        ;D

          1. Of course not. DICE barely knows how to make games, anymore. The BC-era team is gone & they took all of their creativity with them, that’s the real reason why they haven’t touched 2143 or BC3; they simply don’t have the balls, anymore.

      1. And then you watch the gameplay footage they aired during the reveal event, & you realise…..

        …. it really isn’t.

  2. Yeah it looks nice and I love how they gathered most of the SWTCW actors, but the gameplay remains largely the same. They still want that dumbed down casual audience that hand money over regardless of quality or depth.

I’m not going to get myself burned like I did with SWBF and it’s crappy season pass as well as BF1 (though I’ve avoided that SP since the community is near death on origin anyway). I’ll be waiting for a year to see how they keep the online community alive and the price drop.

Also a server browser and dedicated servers , as well as an FoV slider perhaps?.

    1. Wow, where to start?

      1. We haven’t seen enough gameplay of SWBF2 yet, so why do you sound so sure?
      2. This game doesn’t have a season pass, what are you talking about?
      3. BF1 is not near death, I bet it has more players than your favorite combined arms fps game.
      4. Waiting a year to play a game is almost as dumb as it sounds.
      5. SWBF has dedicated servers, and an FoV slider BRO

Either you are a high level troll, or I’m high on mescaline.

      1. 1. There was gameplay streaming during the event, & plenty of it. It looked like sh*t.
        2. Allegedly. We do have to remember, this is EA, after all.
        3. BF1 player counts are down to less than 100,000 TOTAL, ergo, across all 3 platforms. Yeah, it’s dead.
        4. In the current climate of “launch it broken, & then spend 6 months fixing it”? Seriously?
        5. Woooooooooow. Not.

        Definitely the mescaline.

      2. I think you already made your mind up at the start on me as a person, so I think it’s safe to say that you and I can stop wasting future time on one another…

  3. Nope. Looks as casual as the 1st. And that is what turned me off from buying the 1st game. I mean you would think Dice would make it at least play like Battlefield 3. But you have EA running the show telling Dice to make it simple / designed for a controller since it’s Star Wars and they want it to sell to the masses.

    1. Makes me sick. I got last years game with the PS4, played about 10 minutes total thus far. Hell, I even had to go back to BF4 because BF1 was just boring as hell.

    2. That’s how Battlefront has always been. A dumbed down Battlefield with Star Wars theme. You wasn’t around for the first two Battlefronts?

      1. Sold millions yet it’s online community fell to pieces. Pay Wall / micro transactions. The game just failed to deliver.

  4. The more cut scenes they show, The less hope I have at decent game play!
This rule applies to all games, Marketing 101 at it again.
Maybe I am just getting old and know all their BS. 😉

    1. I’m absolutely sure someone saw this at some point & said “MORE JUMP CUTS. WHAT? YOU CAN’T DO MORE JUMP CUTS? NO, NO, NO, I WANT MORE JUMP CUTS!

      DO MORE JUMP CUTS!”

      So, yeah.

  5. That was the 1st one, which everyone knew was rushed before it even came out. What is so “meh” about part 2?

  6. So true and the game to this day is not even worth it. The only people I know who play it are only using it to benchmark for new GPU’s. Very sad indeed. A game with such potential is used for the same reason Ashes is.

  7. Not to forget the Third person fagg0try going on with the Consolol downgrade fagfest mainstream kool-aid crowd. Honestly the gaming is dying with this garbage half cooked ports straight of out of their arses and labeled as AAA titles from EA, Ubitroll and Bugthesda with some buzzword shill sauce..cancer show it’s been with the SP content too.

And they keep shelving all the best IPs like Deadspace and now Mass Effect.
