Back in April, we informed you about Silicon Studio’s new game engine for PC and current-gen consoles. Today, the team behind this new engine – called Mizuchi – has released a new trailer that can be viewed below. Although we still don’t know whether Silicon Studio’s next title will hit the PC, we do have to say that the tech demo for its engine looks gorgeous. So go ahead and take a look at it!

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”

I hope the games look like that
I love the look of the textures and materials. Looking pretty damn good. 😉
Oh wow.. that close up on the camera, we have one similar to that, and they pretty much captured every detail perfectly.
Very impressive tech demo.
Every thing looks spectacular but dammm not a single game will look like this maybe in 2017 we will see
The rendering is phenomenal, especially the close-ups of the camera.
I wasn’t impressed by the artifacting and weird, grid-like anomalies all throughout, though. This needs an uncompressed download 🙂
they show this and making 3DS games. i guess they just advertising their engine which they don’t use. don’t get me wrong, 3DS is a great handheld console
Absolutely It is. even better than PS Vita!.. I’m thinking about buying one but recently new 3Ds is launched. so I’m gonna go with that.
This music makes me want to die and/or tear my inner-ear out from my head…
