Devolver has released a new video for Shadow Warrior 2, showcasing 12 minutes of new gameplay footage. This new video will give you a first glimpse at the Chainsaw Katana weapon. Shadow Warrior 2 is described as the ‘evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang.’ The game is planned for an October 13th release. Not really into FPS games but yeah i will get it but instead of day one, i will pick it couple months after Civ6.
Well, Shadow Warrior ran poorly mostly because of API limitation (it used DX9) and those goddamn reflections. After the DX11 patch, it ran smooth as butter, even on lower spec systems.
Plus, it’s published by Devolver Digital and their games are always optimized.
Devolver Digital and Adult Swim are my personal “not sh*t” publishers nowadays.
