Capcom has released two new teaser trailers for Resident Evil 7. The first trailer focuses on the dangers that are lurking in the shadows, while the second one introduces a new character; Aunt Rhody. Aunt Rhody is a grandma who in this brand new teaser trailer sits on a rocking chair, humming a melody. Enjoy the trailers after the jump!

Its not about the combat. It’s about the game itself. It is simply not Resident Evil. Its the camera angle(yes it matters), lack of cheese, lack of campyness, lack of character. This looks gritty and real. And I am pretty sure gameplay will be simplified to a quite an extent too, but I’ll hold off on that.
I would wholly be accepting the game if it was a spin-off or a new ip. This is DmC garbage all over again.
Resident Evil is a sum of parts, irrespective of how the parts changed over the years it was still Resident Evil, even the trashy spin-off games. This is not Resident Evil and it has me worried for RE2 remake.
Is not out yet, I also jumped on this train but I’m slowly thinking otherwise.

RE1-3 was pretty campy too. It just didn’t have the high octane cut-scenes.
If they don’t screw with the RE2 remake, I can overlook. But its Capcom… … they have been quite r***rded these past few years, so….
honestly if re4 was serious it will be a better game i look at biohazard 3.5 footage and i get wet.
Nah (imo), game is dumb and self aware and I love it for it.
The seriousness should come with good writing (again imo), and we all know Capcom can’t write for sh*t.
Now, if you bring me RE4 gameplay with Silent Hill 2 level of story/writing and we have a deal.

That creature reminded me a loooot of the regenerators from re4….omg i hope they come back, i might actually consider getting this. I hated it at first but from all the vids ive seen im starting to rethink that hatred.
