Resident Evil 2 Recreated In Unreal Engine 3 – Fan-made Project Gets New Footage

YouTube’s ‘Rod Lima’ has shared a new video, showing off a Resident Evil 2 recreation that he’s been working in Unreal Engine 3. As Lima noted, this project most of models, model animes and scenario were extracted from Capcom’s Resident Evil games. It looks cool, so here is hoping that Lima will release a demo for it sooner than later. Enjoy!

  1. not really great , but its not any attempt to remake it for real , so meh.. whatever , its just 3d camera and aiming do not go well with re2, its not made with that in mind

    1. There are multiple parts if you go to the maker’s channel. There are parts where there’s an over the shoulder cam action. Though, the zombie animation and claire’s animation were extracted from Resi 4, but hey it works.

  2. Yup i agree, it looks cool. I think he has done an amazing job (haven’t played RE2 TT_TT) so i can’t speak for how well compared to the original it is. I can say though that making it as a one man project is quite impressive.

  3. Good but not quite. It feels like it lost some of it’s touch because it’s too clean(or high-res). I like the high-res Leon & Claire though

  4. Really? I dont know, its monday, you have to work, and maybe you wanted to troll something to not feel as bad as you do
