Ubisoft has released the gameplay overview trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. This trailer explores the gameplay and key features of this new PoP game, and gives us an in-depth look into its new adventure.

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, players will assume the role of Sargon; a young warrior, and member of an elite group called The Immortals. So no, players will not control the prince. Instead, players will go to rescue Prince Ghassan, and explore Mount Qaf.

Inspired by the Metroidvania structure, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lets players explore a handcrafted world at their own pace. Players will acquire new time powers, unlock unique abilities, and combine them in combat. The game will also have puzzles, secrets and side quests.

Ubisoft will release Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on January 18th, 2024. And, in case you’re wondering, no. The French company has not revealed yet the game’s PC system requirements.

  1. Prince of Wakanda is looking incredibly bland. This looks like the quintillion 2.5D sidescrollers on Steam, and 90% of them are probably more inspired than some corporate Ubislop.

    1. Seriously, they could have checked the box going a bit ethnic persian/iranian, but no… Half black dude with short dreadlocks, yes of course! Fcks sake…

      1. Everyone is afraid of lawsuits nowadays. The other half is chasing that minority vote. It’s only downhill from here. Great era, kudos murica.

  2. We really don’t need more jubisoft invading other genres like metroidvania’s. Looks like no silk song, those devs likely very fat and lazy with the hollow knight money or playing the hinterland long dark game of never finishing a game announced years ago now to milk it. And nah this pop main character is likely a crypto-ju of persian extraction. Stalin was one of those and don’t think the masonic hand signs and such thrown out by supposedly persian leaders doesn’t tell you the real score there. Where you have dupes and foot soldiers you can just go up the line to who really controls that criminal scum. Next we’ll have joanna here thinking Onassis was actually greek, sheesh smh dumbos.
