Fresh3D has released a new video for the upcoming remake of Outcast, showing the tech powering it. As its description reads, this is a WIP video of our current prototype map of Shamazaar, meaning that it does not reflect the quality of the final product. This reworked version of Shamazaar looks sweet and is packed with full dynamic shadows. Enjoy!

Looking forward to this iv been wanting to play through Outcast again for along time now and never could get the old one working properly.
Can’t wait . But this game won’t happen before 2016 for sure 🙁
Looks awesome, looking forward to this.
whoaa Cool o_0
those 2 planets look too close to this planet’s surface and the low fov make the level feel boxed in for me. I can’t say i like any of it, feels like a 3d RTS map seen from street level
This is just a prototype , not even pre alpha .
so i cannot comment on it ?
It’s the same as the original plus it’s in an editor.
so, does that mean i can;t state my oppinion on it ?
Don’t see how you can say such a thing if the game is pre-alpha and looks the same as the original. Opinions are opinions I suppose no matter how wrong they might me.
ok so if I fell those planets are too close and the level feels boxed in i cannot say it because it is a work in progress and shown in the editor. Logic.
Fine, good for you.
right, so as to be clear, the last 7 comments were really unnecessary, there is nothing wrong with me commenting on this regardless of the stage the game is in. All this unnecessary discussion just takes up comment space and precious time from our lives.
