The team behind the Skyblivion mod for Skyrim has released a brand new teaser trailer for it. This new trailer showcases some new colorful weathers, new trees and flora, new clothing, new custom designed weapons, NPC schedules, remade textures and models, custom made creatures using custom behaviors and animations.
Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project that aims to bring the world of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long time fans of the series. The team is currently in the process of porting and rebuilding Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters into Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition.
There is currently no ETA on when this total conversion mod will be released, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy!

> the last good writing in a Bethesda Game Studios RPG.
lolwut
Hahaha I might just try it. But I find it hilarious how some modders are trying to make Oblivion look like Skyrim… and others are trying to make Skyrim like Oblivion lol.
The one thing Oblivion can’t get even in mods for some reason are proper shadows. I wonder if it wouldn’t have been much easier to port the Skyrim renderer and its shadows “down” into the Oblivion engine. All the other stuff didn’t really need an upgrade imo. And if they did it that way all the old Oblivion mods would still work. Now they’re creating a version of Oblivion for which there will be no mods. The whole thing about Oblivion is that almost nobody wants to play it without mods 😐
The only way this project can turn out a success is if they mod it out of the box, so to speak. If it comes with a lot of Oblivion’s problems fixed and maybe with the option to disable enemy scaling when you install or when you start a new game, you know, those sorts of options need to be there or I don’t think people will like it.
