SEGA has released a new trailer, showing new gameplay footage for Team Sonic Racing, the highly anticipated team-based racing title that will be racing into stores on May 21st. Developed by award-winning studio Sumo Digital, Team Sonic Racing is described as the ultimate arcade and fast-paced competitive style racing experience.

In Team Sonic Racing, players will take control of their racing style as they can choose from 3 distinct character types and unlock game changing vehicle customization options to suit their racing style.

The game will feature online multiplayer & local co-op modes with up to 12 players per race, 4 player split screen, and various offline / online race modes including Grand Prix Mode, Exhibition Mode, Time-Trial and Team Adventure Mode.

Furthermore, Team Sonic Racing will feature an adventure mode which promises to be a unique story experience where players are introduced to basic game features and character.
