New gameplay video released for post-apocalyptic adventure game, Beautiful Desolation

The Brotherhood has released a new gameplay video for its upcoming post-apocalyptic adventure game, Beautiful Desolation. Beautiful Desolation is a point n click adventure game with African landscapes that were captured with photogrammetry. It looks cool, so be sure to watch this video.

In Beautiful Desolation, players will explore a post-apocalyptic landscape, solve puzzles, meet new friends and make powerful enemies. Players will also mediate conflicts and fight for their lives as they unravel the secrets of the world around them.

  • A story set in a post-apocalyptic future
  • 2D isometric, detailed rendered environments
  • African landscapes captured with photogrammetry

  1. Man, that looks really cool and sort of makes Me think this is sort of what Fallout 3 could of been if it did not go the full 3D route.

    Anyways I really dig it and it’s on GoG so I am juiced up and interested.

  2. The art style is excellent! It’s very rare and much needed nowadays when games with top-down perspective seem to favor crappy mobile/indie-like look (like Wasteland 2).
    BTW, old games like Commandos 1/2 look great to this day.

  3. I like STASIS and CAYNE and this one looks even better. If you played the old game Sanitarium you will like those games trust me.

  4. Woah! I totally forgot about this game. This looks amazing! Art direction is beautiful and concept seems really interesting. I really liked the atmosphere in CAYNE and this time it seems it will be the same. Nice touch with Zulu language too 🙂
