New gameplay video for Hogwarts Legacy shows off the Gryffindor Common Room

Warner Bros has released a new 4K gameplay video for Hogwarts Legacy, showing off the Gryffindor Common Room. According to the team, this room is nested inside one of the tallest towers at Hogwarts.

Hogwarts Legacy is a third-person immersive, open-world action RPG, developed by Avalanche Software. In this game, players will experience a new story set at Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Players will make allies, battle Dark wizards, and decide the fate of the wizarding world. Additionally, players will grow their magical abilities by mastering spells, brewing potions and taming fantastic beasts.

Hogwarts Legacy promises to have immersive magic, putting players at the center of their adventure to become the witch or wizard they choose to be. They will grow their character’s abilities as they master powerful spells, hone combat skills and select companions to help them face off against deadly enemies. Players will also encounter missions and scenarios that will pose difficult choices and determine what they stand.

Warner Bros has already stated that the game won’t have any microtransactions or online co-op.

Hogwarts Legacy will release on February 10th, 2023. You can also find its official PC system requirements here!

          1. That’s not the definition of “woke” because “if” it were, well, you, and me, would’ve stop playing games when… wait for it… when gamers, modders, etc. first-introduced ***in-game CHARACTER CREATIONS etc.

            But, what is woke, one example, is now that the industry forces gamers to choose not from the **traditional** male/female locker room to signature our protagonist but instead, from a pronoun/non-binary one, etc.

            Like it or not, the TRUE FACTS are that PC gamers have had the ability to alter (aka MOD) our characters (regardless of what species, etc.) for decades. e.g. chicken heads on our protagonist, diapers on them, a centaur and on and on.

            So, the real question is, though, why now after DECADES of old-school **CHARACTER CREATION** (damn what the industry is trying to call it today) that it is a problem for you now, especially for a single-player OFFLINE title? ?

            I definitely don’t agree with all this new forced industry “inclusion/representation” BS but c’mon now.

        2. It absolutely is woke. The demographics of what’s supposed to be a location in 19th century Scotland with very strict border controls would not be as brown as black as 21st century London. They’re also shoving in trans BS by letting people mix male bodies with female voices and vice versa. I don’t get it, I thought trans people want to be 100% the sex they think they are. Why, given the opportunity, would they settle HALFWAY? It reeks of pandering.

  5. Wow, the lighting in interiors actually looks amazing. Reminds me of the intro gameplay sequence of A Plague Tale: Innocence.
