Gamepires has released a brand new gameplay trailer for its upcoming multiplayer open-world survival game, SCUM, showcasing its advanced wetness and drying systems. SCUM is a multiplayer open-world survival game with unprecedented levels of character customization, control, and progression where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival.
In SCUM, characters will be affected by the rain and the sea/pool water. SCUM promises to feature some of the most advanced systems we’ve ever seen as players can catch a cold if they stay in the rain. Furthermore, cloths can get heavier and different cloths will absorb different levels of water.
SCUM handles wetness per body part along with separate layers of cloths that can have different levels of wetness also. This means that parts of your gear can be dry or wet depending on what you do. Players will also be able to dry their cloths via different ways (like walking or by using the sun or the wind).
SCUM will hit Steam Early Access in the first quarter of 2018 and looks really interesting.

I’d be interested in this, if it wasn’t MP and competitive based only.
Crazy, that is pretty awesome mechanics and tech.
Now this looks fun. I might have to get it on STEAM. FINALLY something to play on my 1080
Incoming lawsuit from Mike Tyson’s tattoo artist in 3…2…1…
I barely play any mutliplayer game nowadays. You pay full price for games that die very quickly most of the time, have real toxic communities and lose server support when publishers cut them off…
Unless you can offer something new… thanks but no thanks…
The moment I read multiplayer, I didnt care
Unpopular opinion there: I don’t loathe multiplayer games as a whole.
This looks great!
I stooped when I saw Multiplayer
So many carebears complaining about multiplayer
“survival games are all dull, repetitive and ultimately pointless – so how do we make our game stand out among the rest? That’s right, let’s make player wet his pants”
Another multiplayer only game. Yawn.
Another trash Early Access game that will die within a few days after launch. LMAO!
