Digital Extremes, the developers of Warframe, have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming free to play action hybrid MMORPG, Soulframe.
Unfortunately, DE has not shared any additional details about its title. So, we don’t really have to share much about it.
As the devs claimed, this trailer packs gameplay from the game’s pre-alpha version. And yes, in case you’re wondering though, “Preludes” stands for that pre-alpha version.
To be honest, I wasn’t particularly impressed by what I saw in this trailer. This seems like yet another Souls-like game. And, since it’s from a pre-alpha build, it has some really rough animations. At least it will be free to play so, yay?
From what we know so far, Soulframe will feature open-world, co-op gameplay in its own independent and immersive fantasy experience. The game will also feature an entirely unique world with a heavy focus on themes of nature, restoration, and history in a brand-new world.
Finally, there is no ETA on when the alpha (or beta) phase will launch.
