New gameplay footage surfaces for the H.R. Giger-inspired game, SCORN

It appears that the developers of SCORN have been sharing numerous small gameplay teasers from it these past few weeks. And, thankfully, YouTube’s cycu1 has put the newest ones in one short clip, thus giving us a glimpse at how the game currently looks.

SCORN is a new first-person adventure game that is heavily inspired by H.R. Giger’s work. In this game, every location will contain its own theme (story), puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world. Throughout the game, players will open up new areas. Players will also acquire different skill sets, weapons, various items and try to comprehend the sights presented to them.

Ebb Software aims to release the game in October 2022. Moreover, we can expect SCORN to be present in Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022. Or at least that makes sense.

  1. This title looks extremely linear, confined mostly to indoors, graphics/textures took a hit, appears to have a short story, and looks very repetitive and going off the protagonist’s hands here, it got this androgynous thingy going on. ?

    1. initially it was gonna be open ended thrown into the world without explanation but who knows what has happened since then, looks too much corridor like for my taste.

  2. you sure those are new because last time i checked the game was very bloody and fleshy while the original looked like that.

    1. Name one multiplatform game that ain’t downgraded? The worse part is when you see it and Remember what it used to look like. I love how the From Software Drones never once uttered this sentiment for Elden Ring. I remember when Elden Ring was first showcased it look nothing like the garbage that they released. Even funnier a game that’s locked at 60 FPS, haha ???

    1. Somehow I don’t think it will be anything like those games, otherwise I would be way more hyped. Prey (2017) is one of the best games of recent years.

      1. Well, I wouldn’t discuss it when it comes to taste, but it looks disgusting to me. Not disgustingly scary, but disgustingly stupid.
Oh, and now I see why you’ve compared it to Sony games.
        Bwahahahahahahahaha
        Console peasants.
